Getting back into watching Y&R after the quarantine was reminiscent of getting back into a series in the fall that has been on hiatus all summer. I seriously just got caught up with the exception of a few.

Now We Know Who’s Intimate Together in Real Life… Soaps Opera Social Distancing
It was reported back in June that Young & the Restless sister soap, The Bold & the Beautiful, would be using the star’s spouses in intimate scenes to pull off some intimate scenes.
It had been confirmed that Bryton James who plays Devon Hamilton & Brytni Sarpy who plays Elena Dawson are dating. Also, soap opera websites have been strongly suggesting that Sharon Case who plays Sharon Newman & Mark Grossman who plays Adam Newman are dating.
Social distancing while filming now has a gray area.
It appears Y&R is going with the efficient route in doubling up their staff/stars intimacy not only in private but also on-screen.
We can thank social distancing as now means to know who is intimate in real life, not just acting intimate on-set.
Sharon & Adam: Counseling at Sharon’s Home… Soap Opera Social Distancing
Um… How about Sharon providing counseling to Adam at her home…
Pre-COVID I never questioned Sharon about providing counseling services to Adam’s son Connor. That was different, however. At first, Sharon & Connor connected.
This connection prompted Adam & Chelsea to ask for Sharon’s help. Connor is a little kid. It seems natural that his sessions would take place at his home or the ranch.
Maybe it’s a lot to expect Sharon to have an office for her clients, but her last name is Newman & that equals $$$$. Hence, resources to have a safe & professional space to provide counseling.
I do realize, however, this is a soap opera & they need this type of thing to lead onto other storylines.
For right now, it appears that these two characters are 2 of 4 Y&R stars that can sit on a couch together…
