It’s almost like Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) daughter Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) knew what was coming. Before Daniel dropped Lucy off at the airport, Lucy was concerned with her dad being alone since Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) death & she brought up Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Lily visits Daniel at his suite at the Genoa City Athletic Club & they end up intimate.
Not long after running into Lily’s ex-lover Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at Society, Billy took it upon himself to be intimate with one of his ex-lovers, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

Within hours it seems that Billy & Lily in Sync with their ex-lovers bring promise & bliss to both of them & their current lovers, but for how long?
There’s no doubt that Chelsea Lawson contributed at least in small part to the demise of Billy & Lily’s relationship. As of late Lily & Daniel have been reconnected & just went through with reconnecting intimately.
Also, as of late, Daniel has brought Chelsea Lawson on board to work with him on his Omegasphere project.
Daniel & Chelsea have been working together on Omegasphere to bring a brand new approach to gaming that includes personal growth & mental health challenges.
With Phyllis Summers dead, at least for now, Omegasphere has dropped to the bottom of Daniel’s priority list.

Young & the Restless fans know that Phyllis Summers is not really dead & she will meet face-to-face with her daughter Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) in the park.
It’s unclear, however, how long it will be until Daniel & anyone else learns that Phyllis took a turn at faking her death.
On that note, Daniel will have tons of emotional baggage to wade through. Working with Chelsea on Omegasphere will seem like the only avenue to process what his mother has put him through.
