Y&R’s Outdated Abbott Estate, Fewer Sets Now Excused

Y&R’s outdated Abbott Estate provides an ongoing excuse for fewer sets. This excuse is getting about as old as the decor in this home.

Even Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) commented during her visit to celebrate 200 years of Genoa City that nothing had changed with the decor at the Abbott Estate since she had last been there.

Mamie Johnson last was inside the Abbott Estate back in 2004.

Too Many Adult Abbotts Inside Y&R’s Outdated Abbot Estate

Perhaps if Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) hadn’t fired her mother from Marchetti Home, Y&R’s outdated Abbott Estate may have actually been renovated.

Also, maybe if Summer or her brother Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) wouldn’t have fired her from their respective companies their mother would have had something worthy to do & wouldn’t have faked her death.

Speaking of Phyllis Summers’ fake death, it’s surely causing tons of problems amongst all of the grown-ups living inside the Abbott Estate.

Jack’s impromptu granddaughter Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) has moved in with her boyfriend Noah Newman (Rory Gibson). Summer has moved into a guest room at the Abbott Estate to separate herself from her husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Aunt Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) has flown off to New York, & Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is in jail.

These recent developments leave Jack & his sister Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) to fight full-time with Summer, Kyle, &/or Harrison to walk in at any time to feel even more awkward than they do at the Abbott Estate.

Ashley Invites Tucker to Live With Her, Separately in a Guest Room

While it seems the Abbott Estate is already crowded, Ashley has invited Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to move in with her. What can Young & the Restless fans do to make this happen? Tucker moving into the Abbott Estate would drive Smilin’ Jack Abbott absolutely bonkers.

Tucker McCall has just been paid off big by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for McCall Unlimited & has the funding to go wherever he wants anywhere in the world. Why would the infamous Tucker McCall want to reside even temporarily in Y&R’s outdated Abbott Estate?

Tucker did ask Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to travel with him & to be his right hand again & she turned him down flat.

However, no matter how much Tucker tries to disguise his love for Ashley with his intermittent attraction for Audra, he will continue to be in love with Ashley.

Tucker McCall Might Be On His Way In, Summer On Her Way Out

Even though Tucker might be moving into the Abbott Estate, the number of residents may remain the same.

Summer & Kyle’s marriage has been increasingly more rocky since they renewed their vows after just 1 year & Kyle’s mom came back from the dead.

Young & the Restless fans know that Phyllis isn’t dead & she will soon have some face time with her daughter Summer. Do you suppose that Phyllis & Summer will rescue one another from their respective personal hell & move in together somewhere?

What do you think of the current state of the Abbott Estate? Would you be opposed to a remodel? Maybe Ashley & Aunt Traci should get a penthouse in Genoa City to share as they both jet off here & there. Summer & Kyle should have moved out with Harrison months ago. It seems that will fix itself coming up.
