Yet Another Paternity Test is Coming Soon in Genoa City on Y&R
Many fans of The Young & the Restless have been forecasting Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) becoming pregnant with a Newman baby. It appears the time has come. Sally isn’t feeling well & the period app she has installed on her cell phone indicates that her period is past due.
Fans of The Young & the Restless have seen this movie before but with a different lady & still with the Newmans. Her name was Sage & she has passed on. Like Sally, she found interest in both Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) & his brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
In Sage’s case, she gave birth to a Newman baby boy & then she died. It was thought that the baby was Nick’s but a paternity test later proved that baby Christian was actually Adam’s.
Christian has been & continues to be raised by Nick Newman & at least for the time being believes that Nick Newman is his father in every way.
If Sally Spectra really is pregnant with a Newman baby & carries it to term, how do you think things will shake out? Similar to Sage or not so much?!?…
More Y&R Paternity Test Kids ~ Summer, Kyle, & Harrison
Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), her husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), & their impromptu son Harrison Locke are all part of the Y&R Paternity Test Kids Club.
Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) daughter Summer could have either been Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) or Nick Newman’s. Since Summer was apparently destined to end up with Jack Abbott’s son Kyle, it’s a good thing Nick Newman is her father.
Kyle Abbott on the other hand could have been Victor Newman’s son but did end up being Jack Abbott’s son. How many ways can a couple almost be related?
Wow…
Finally, Summer & Kyle’s impromptu son Harrison is also in the Y&R Paternity Test Kids Club. Until Harrison turned 3 years old, he was being raised by his presumed biological parents Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi, Robert Newman) & Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).
Ashland & Tara Locke raising Harrison promptly ended after it was revealed that she & Kyle Abbott had an affair in New York & he was likely Harrison’s biological father. After a paternity test proved Kyle to be Harrison’s biological dad, Tara was arrested for money laundering, & Ashland died.
Kyle & Summer are raising Harrison Locke as their own…
Ex-Lovers & Paternity Tests, Daniel & Lily on The Young & the Restless
With Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) back in Genoa City Y&R fans can’t help but be reminded of his paternity debacle. While there is likely a bunch of gray area being that this was handled by Phyllis so many years ago, let’s just all agree that Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) is indeed Daniel’s dad in every way.
Then there is Lily Winters (Christel Khalil)… The man who raised her was Neil Winters (the late Kristoff St. John). Lily’s biological father, however, is her uncle Malcolm. Apparently, Neil’s wife needed to find comfort with his hot brother without protection.
Now Lily’s mother Dru is dead & Malcolm is MIA.
Biological Dad Confusion, With or Without Paternity Tests on Y&R
Last but not least, there’s Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) & her daughter Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway).
Before it was revealed that Abby’s biological father is actually Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), it was assumed that Abby’s dad in every way was Bradley Carlton (Don Diamont).
While Bradley Carlton has passed on, the man that played him is alive & well on The Bold & the Beautiful (Don Diamont).
Abby’s mother somehow saw fit to impregnate herself using Victor’s sperm. Perhaps karma caught up with Ashley as it was recently revealed that she is not John Abbott’s (the late Jerry Douglas) biological daughter.
Despite all of the ongoing paternity confusion on The Young & the Restless, Genoa City residents seem to be doing just fine, or are they?
