Phyllis Isn’t Dead, Doesn’t Disguise Well, & Not Noticed in Genoa City
How is it possible that no one but Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) knows that Phyllis Summers isn’t dead?
Of course, in true Phyllis Summers fashion, she attended her own memorial. After all, what won’t Phyllis do?
Could she have done a better job with her disguise though? Even Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has pulled off a better disguise than what Phyllis put together.
How is it possible that neither of her children or any man that she has slept with in Genoa City was not able to recognize Phyllis at her own memorial?
Team Stark-Phyllis-EMT-Guy… & Summer Newman on Y&R?!?
Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) planned her mother’s memorial in record time. In fact, the planning of Phyllis’s memorial & the memorial itself took less time than the gala celebrating 200 years of Genoa City on Y&R.
Not only did Summer Newman tolerate Diane’s presence at her mother’s memorial, but she also made damn sure that Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) was in attendance.
Obviously, the efforts of Jeremy Stark, Phyllis, & that EMT guy set things in motion for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to be arrested. However, it seems that Summer Newman provided some value added.
Diane Jenkins Is Arrested, Brings Summer Newman Joy on Y&R
Diane Jenkins being arrested clearly brought joy to Summer Newman.
For months, Summer has become increasingly more frustrated with both Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) & her husband Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) blind loyalty to Diane.
Could it be that Summer became so frustrated with everything that has to do with Diane Jenkins that she teamed up with her mother to finally bring Diane down?
Do you think Phyllis could have done a better job dressing in disguise? Or, do you find it comical that even Jack Abbott didn’t notice Phyllis was attending her own memorial?
What if Young & the Restless fans hope that Summer is involved in Phyllis’s fake death? It seems it would be easier for Phyllis to be forgiven if Summer was also involved.
