Abbott Cousins in Crime: Abby Newman & Kyle Abbott
Well, mostly make-believe crime. Both Y&R’s Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) & his cousin Abby Newman’s (Mellissa Ordway) marriages have ended. Unfortunately, without courtroom scenes on Young & the Restless, loyal fans missed out on so much divorce drama that could have been.
Despite Y&R fans missing out on what should have been great courtroom drama much like fans were forced to miss Summer Newman (Hunter King, at the time) & Kyle Abbott’s wedding in Italy, loyal fans are here for whatever happens next with Summer & Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd).
Young & the Restless spoilers (& vibes) suggest that both Abbott Cousins Abby & Kyle will sooner than later want what they no longer have. Entitled & always in a suit Kyle Abbott & almost always out-of-the-loop Abby Abbott will feel up to throwing the Abbott name around & whatever “moves” they think they have to get both of their spouses back.
Last Name Abbott, Last Name McCheaterton: The Same
Kyle & Abby, Abbott Cousins in Crime, may as well share a last name that represents them the best: McCheaterton.
Although it just happened, & just once, Abby & her sperm-donor-now-boyfriend that cheated on both of their live-in lovers have been on Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) & Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) 110%. There are so many pots calling kettles black right now in Genoa City right now that it is insane.
At this point, if Y&R fans had to pick a Cousin in Crime that was most on the up & up, it would have to be Kyle. At least Kyle separated from his wife before his sexual shenanagins with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). That was hard to type, but it’s true.
Y&R’s Entitled Kyle & Out-of-the-Loop Abby: BS Called
It’s all but certain that bullshit will be called on both Kyle & Abby. They both screwed up & their divorces are final.
Sure, Summer’s mother Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) faked her death, but how is that Summer’s fault? Plus, Kyle Abbott’s mother Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) did the same years & years ago & just resurfaced from the dead/L.A. about 10 minutes ago.
As for Miss Abby, perhaps she should revisit her lane & she should stay in it. Does she know that her mother Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is in Paris with her Aunt Traci (Beth Maitland) to figure out whether or not Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) really threw & broke a wine glass? Does Abby know at all what happened with the Newmans in Oregon & what has been going on since?
Now Abby is going to be on the Chancellor Winters board…
Oh Abby, there aren’t any board rooms left in Genoa City. They went by the wayside just as the courtrooms.
