Victoria’s pending wedding in Italy on Young & the Restless is never going to happen, or will it?!? A Wedding of the Century abroad makes zero sense.
Y&R fans that believe that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has finally met her match are going to be disappointed. With Ashland’s shady past, why would the almighty Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) endorse such a large scale event for the apple of his eye?

It’s Never Going to Happen… Victoria’s Pending Wedding on Y&R
While it may make sense that Victoria has finally met her match in Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) & that a spectacle of a wedding is in order in their minds, why in Italy?
Sure… Victoria spent time in Italy years ago. Sure… Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Summer (Hunter King), & apparently Harrison have recently relocated there. Noah Newman still lives in Europe… & supposedly there is some extravagant Newman-owned property to hold such an event in Italy.
Still, a wedding in Italy will require several, several people to fly there…
Sure, the Newmans & Abbotts have private jets. Sure there are wealthy residents in Genoa City & I’m sure in New York where Ashland is from… but could we be more greedy?
This isn’t flying 6 people to London or Las Vegas like on Friends. This is flying everyone Victoria & Ashland know that is a big deal, they know, are important, they want to make jealous, etc.
Victoria Pending Wedding in Italy, Who Thinks It Will Happen?
Sure, get married in Italy so some time can be spent with Harrison before the wedding. Convenient… for Ashland. Not so convenient for the umpteen people they will invite to share in their glamorous event in Italy.
We’ve been led to believe that both Kyle & Summer have left the Young & the Restless. Harrison has supposedly landed a role on Grey’s Anatomy.
While it would still be asking a lot of everyone else on their guest list to fly to Italy for their wedding, Y&R fans would for sure have interest in seeing Kyle, Summer, & Harrison at the event.
Perhaps even a double wedding?… But again, Kyle, Summer, & Harrison are supposedly not available (off the show) to attend.
So… What. Is. The. Point?
Would Johnny & Katie attend? Would Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) & Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) bring them if they do? Will Billy make a scene? What about Reed?… Where has that kid been anyway? Does Ashland even know about Victoria’s older son Reed?
Will Victor be effective in persuading Victoria in including Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in her wedding? If so, he’ll need a date. Y&R fans across social media are routing for him & Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as-is. Adam & Sally flying to Italy would really shake things up… & it would be totally hot.
Also, if Sally Spectra does persuade Victoria to design her wedding dress, that would be awesome.
Victoria & Ashland’s Wedding in Italy & What Happens Next on Y&R…
Well, it’s not going to happen…
Victor & his son Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are teaming up to investigate Ashland. Just as some Y&R fans are skeptical of Ashland’s background, his illness, & his expedited personal & professional mergers with Victoria, Victor & Nick are skeptical as well.
Alas… The writers at Y&R are not setting this wedding up to really happen. Sure, it’s a soap opera & all, but it’s hard to believe that all of these people will fly to Italy for this pending wedding.
