As all of these checklist items to finalize the business merger of Newman-Locke are being checked off, a marriage proposal is offered, considered, & answered.

Thank goodness Victoria’s ex-husband has a new roommate who can sub in as a mother to two young children. Victoria has been quite otherwise occupied.
Yes, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) & Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) are doing a wonderful job of hosting Billy & Victoria’s young children. No need to feel bad for them though…

One would assume if one agreed to marry a dying man that the wedding itself would be prompt & small, an elopement of sorts… & one would be wrong.
Not only have Victoria & Ashland agreed to get married, but they have also agreed to make their wedding an epic event. TBD if their nuptials compete with the real-life wedding of Prince Harry & Meghan Markle.

We’re left to wonder if Eric Braeden that plays the infamous & timeless Victor Newman is on the verge of retirement. Regardless of when Victor Newman leaves Genoa City forever & ever, there will be big & powerful shoes to fill.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is obviously not the one. As of late, he has been quite the pushover.
The best shot at filling Victor Newman’s shoes is Ashland Locke. If this is what the powers that be at the Young & the Restless have in mind then Victoria & Ashland must be in love.

For anyone out of the loop, do NOT mess with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)… Better known to Jack Abbott as ‘Red.’
Finally, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) is brought down. Actually, Tara Locke is brought to jail as she was arrested for some creative accounting as it pertains to her bankrupt shoe line.

After being belittled by Jack & Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) on a daily basis for questioning Tara & Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) since Summer Newman (Hunter King) left for Italy, Jack & Kyle apologize.
Textbook Phyllis… hanging out in the gray area to get things done, Phyllis totally gets things done.
Mariah is Still Missing & Only Abby & Tessa Care in Genoa City
Seriously, #WTF. Almost no one cares that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is still missing, except Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) & Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).
Um… Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), pull your head out of your ass. Your daughter is missing. No one has had a live phone call with her. She’s carrying someone else’s baby. She’s missing work. The only communication from Mariah is via text & is super vague.
Also, Kyle, I know your head has been shoved so far up Tara Locke’s ass that you haven’t had time to go to the office let alone wonder about your BFF Mariah. Yes, Mariah… The woman you asked to stand up for in your wedding to Summer. She’s one of your all-star employees also. Seriously, where are you on this Kyle? Once Mariah makes it back home safely, never speaking with you again will be too soon.
“Good Guy” Adam Newman, Hasn’t Kissed Sharon Since Last Time
Well, it seems Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) redeeming himself is still going on. He & Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are still BFFs. Despite recently moving out to The Ranch, he hasn’t kissed Sharon (yet) since the last time at Society which sent Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) in & out of the psych ward.
Adam has even hired Cloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) at Newman Media & has given his word Chelsea has a job when she returns to Genoa City from Minnesota to help her mother heal from her recent injury.
While that all sounds great, Adam is still Adam, & something is bound to go insane. He’s staying away from Sharon. He’s willing to co-parent with Chelsea & employ her. Some would say his next opportunity to mix things up with be with Chloe.
After all, her on-screen husband Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) has been hired on for a role at Beyond Salem, along with at least a couple of other Y&R alumni.
Will Chloe get lonely? Will Chelsea still be helping her mom in Minnesota? Perhaps Adam & Chloe will both be single, lonely, & working together late at Newman Media without social distancing… Sounds like another #WTF on Y&R…
