Meetings in Chancellor Park, Michael & Diane Reconnect on Y&R
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) returning to Genoa City from the dead has already pushed Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) off the deep end. Now Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) & Diane seem to be rebooting their friendship.
Phyllis has seen them at Society catching up & since having some type of not-so-secret meeting at Chancellor Park. It wasn’t a secret as Phyllis was undercover in a giant hat listening from a short distance.
Michael Baldwin is no dummy, however. He totally called Phyllis on her hiding in the bushes. Perhaps Phyllis could have put a bit more effort into her disguise. She literally added sunglasses & a giant hat.
Is Michael Baldwin really rebooting his friendship with Diane? Or, is he protecting his personal & professional interests?
Michael Baldwin & Phyllis go way back & would do almost anything for one another well into the gray area & beyond. Then there’s Michael’s “special projects” position for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). He’s to be finding dirt on Diane from her life after death in L.A. as per both Victor & Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Chelsea Lawson, Impromptu Meet-ups with Married Men (Y&R)
With Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) taking up residency at the Grand Phoenix, it’s totally understandable that she would want to explore beyond the Grand Phoenix lobby. Plus, if she’s not in the Grand Phoenix lobby, she can’t see Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) & Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) heading upstairs to the Newman Media suite for another intimate meet-up.
Since the weather has become favorable to spend time in Chancellor Park, not-so-private meetings have been occurring. Just like the Grand Phoenix anyone can walk through at any time & pick up on what may or may not be going on.
For instance, it wasn’t long ago Chelsea was talking with her baby daddy Adam Newman about Connor’s soccer practice & his schedule otherwise. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) just so happens to walk through Chancellor Park & “rescues” Chelsea from Adam.
Chelsea & Adam were seriously having a conversation about how to manage their child’s evolving schedule. There wasn’t any violence or raised voices, but simply a difference of opinion. Now Chelsea & Kyle seem to be fast friends. Will anything beyond friendship develop between Kyle & Chelsea? It’s obvious that Chelsea does not have boundaries, but what about Kyle?
Then there’s Chelsea & Billy meeting in the park to plan a playdate for Johnny & Connor. Yes, Johnny whose bio-mom is Chelsea & bio-dad is Billy playing with Chelsea & Adam’s son Connor.
Chelsea & Billy have been there & done that but will they do it again?
With Billy Abbott’s ongoing obsession with the mother of his children Victoria Newman, things with his live-in girlfriend & boss at Chancellor-Winters have gotten a little rocky. Victoria is otherwise occupied with Ashland Locke in New York. If things continue to deteriorate between Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) & Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), will Billy begin spending more time with Chelsea?
