Phyllis Summers: Nick or Jack | Love in Genoa City
While Phyllis & Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are hot as ever… Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is lonely as ever. As a matter of fact, Jack was so lonely that he put effort into having a relationship with what he considered Phyllis 2.0 (Sally Spectra).
This all the while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) & Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) were working their way to get Summer Newman (Hunter King) out of town & away from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Summer ends up relocating to Italy & Kyle & his new son Harrison eventually join her. Jack & ‘Red’ shared in missing their children & dealing with their impromptu relocation to Italy.
Just as Y&R fans saw coming, Jack eventually leveled with Phyllis after a few glasses of wine that he’s still in love with her, has always been in love with her, & will likely always be in love with her.
Y&R fans & Phyllis acknowledge the ongoing connection, but whether there should be a reboot of their relationship is only up in the air with Y&R fans themselves.
Phyllis & Nick claim that they are solid, have hot sex to confirm, etc.
Plus, is it really a good idea to go back to a previous lover that is also the previous stepdad of your current lover?
Good Lord… If Phyllis goes back to Jack & Nick is free he is sure to end up back with Sharon. We’ve all seen that movie too many times. Time to move on.
As for Jack, he does deserve love. Maybe he should go back to Sharon as they are both equally as boring right now…
Or, what about him & the Woman in the Green Dress (Crystal by Krystal Mosely)? While she’s only had a few lines (while she’s been working), she seems nice. She’s beautiful & appears to be new to town. A fresh start for Jack Abbott could be what he & Y&R fans need & are craving…
Tessa Porter Sleeps with Siblings, Mariah Copeland & Noah Newman
Prior to coming out as a lesbian Tessa Porter was dating Noah Newman (Rory Gibson), Mariah Copeland’s only brother. At about the same time, Mariah Copeland was dating Devon Hamilton.
Since then Tessa Porter & Mariah Copeland became lesbian lovers & eventually, Mariah agreed to be a surrogate for Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) using sperm provided by Devon Hamilton.
Meanwhile carrying Abby & Chance Chancellor’s (Connor Floyd) baby, Mariah was kidnapped & held captive by Abby’s ex-husband Ben ‘Stitch’ Raeburn (Sean Carrigan). Understandably, being held captive while carrying someone else’s baby has presented some mental health challenges for Mariah. Well, that & Stitch is MIA & hasn’t been held accountable for his actions.
Alas, Mariah has come to the conclusion that her & Tessa having their own baby is the solution to her moving forward in life with Tessa after moving out of the Chancellor Estate.
Not only does Mariah want to have a baby with Tessa, but she would also like Tessa to carry the baby. Mariah would like Tessa to have one so Tessa can experience having a baby… hopefully omitting the kidnapping & being held captive portion of the pregnancy Mariah went through.
It seems that Tessa is a ‘hard no’ on both her & Mariah having a baby, let alone carrying a baby at this time.
Tessa has an exciting singing career & is moving on up. Mariah has some serious PTSD to deal with. Finally, Noah Newman is on the verge of returning to Genoa City.
Will the stress of what Mariah went through during the pregnancy & her intentions to have a baby with Tessa push Tessa away? If Mariah & Tessa do split, will Tessa switch back to men?… or, at least one man / former lover / Mariah’s brother, Noah Newman?
Devon Hamilton: Same Faces in the Same Living Space | Love in Genoa City
Speaking of sleeping with siblings, another case… Devon Hamilton.
After losing his wife Hillary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) shortly after marrying her on her deathbed, Devon eventually began dating again. It’s up for debate whether he motivated Mariah Copeland to seek out a female lover.
Regardless, Devon is now not only dating & sleeping with his deceased wife’s identical twin sister Amanda Sinclair, but he has also now invited her to live with him. Amanda excepted without a second thought to move into the same residence where her deceased identical sister whom she never met used to live, date & sleep with Devon.
Is Devon & Amanda’s relationship legit, or does Devon have ongoing PTSD from losing the love of his life tragically?
Adam Newman: The Sharon & Chelsea Back & Forth w/ a Splash of Sally Spectra
Finally, Adam Newman is not sleeping with Sharon on Chelsea. He’s actually not sleeping with anyone, but Sally Spectra is dreaming of sleeping with him.
While it’s reasonable to assume Sally Spectra is after a man with deep pockets, her interest in Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is so much more exciting than her efforts with Jack Abbott. Viewing Sally’s attempts to date & be intimate with Jack Abbott was simply nauseating. We come to find out Jack was looking for a Phyllis 2.0 in Sally.
Now what’s not at all nauseating & is totally hot, is Adam Newman & Sally Spectra. They need to get it on ASAP.
While it’s clear they have a connection, Connor & his mother Chelsea Lawson (Mellissa Claire Egan) are a couple of hurdles that have held up any lovemaking, let alone a romantic relationship…
Until now… After Connor questions Adam & Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) at Crimson Lights during one of Sharon’s infamous “counseling sessions” about Sharon’s contribution to the demise of his mom & dad’s relationship, he runs off & ends up at Chancellor Park.
Just as Sally Spectra has ended up running into Adam at the park while running in a hot little tracksuit, she runs into an upset Connor while running through the park. Sally befriends Connor as she nonchalantly texts Adam to let him know she’s with him in the park. Moving forward, it seems Connor & Sally Spectra are BFF.
The Connor hurdle has now been addressed. Chelsea is still in Minnesota with her mother. Time for Adam & Sally to get it on…
Love in Genoa City & What Happens Next on Y&R…
As the previously mentioned pending two-some toss-ups have been teed up to entertain during November sweeps, so has the two-some of Victoria Newman (Ameilia Heinle) & Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi).
It appears we are on the brink of finding out who Ashland Locke really is, how he became who he really is, & depending on said findings if he does actually marry Victoria Newman in Italy.
Social media is also buzzing about Summer Newman & Kyle Abbott making another appearance on Young & the Restless.
Afterall… Jack, Phyllis, & Nick have all received invitations to Summer & Kyle’s wedding (also in Italy) & are planning to travel together to the event in the Abbott Jet.
So many questions & loose ends teed up for November sweeps…
