Abby has a baby… Completely without Chance, but with a surrogate & a sperm donor.
There were so many signs that having a baby when they chose to have a baby was a bad choice. Now it’s all but confirmed that Abby will be a single mom… At least for now.

Some would second guess having a baby if they were told they could not have a baby.
In the case of Abby & Chance Chancellor, they were notified they could not have a baby, Chance had to go on assignment out of nowhere, & they still agreed to have a baby.
Yes, Abby & Chance were back from their honeymoon just long enough to learn that they were both reproductively challenged before Chance learned he had to leave town on assignment.
Um… Let’s see… Both pending parents are reproductively challenged & one of them has to go out of town on assignment. Also, the one on assignment can’t say where he is or when he’ll ever be back ~~ ever.
Instead of considering adoption, Abby & Chance agree to ask their friends for help to have a baby as soon as possible.
The Sperm Donor & The Surrogate…
Devon agrees to provide his sperm & Mariah agrees to be their surrogate.
Um… Mariah & Devon used to date, make love, etc. This was before Mariah switched teams to team up with Tessa Porter.
Chance is on assignment. Mariah gets pregnant with Abby & his baby. Then Mariah & Tessa move into the Chancellor Estate with Abby & often times Nina.
No one knows when Chance will be back, the baby is born, & now Abby is left alone with her new baby & Chance’s watch & wedding ring…

Is Chance really dead? If his death is soap-opera-temporary, how temporary is it? Temporary or permanent, does Stitch have anything to do with it? He still has not been found since kidnapping Mariah. Why doesn’t anyone care where Stitch is? Why isn’t Victor questioning his whereabouts & if there is any way he could be involved in Chance’s death?
Not only are we wondering where Stitch is we are wondering where Jessie Gaines has been. Also, what hotel is Billy keeping Gaines in? It cannot be the Grand Phoenix. We haven’t seen the Genoa City Athletic Club for a long time. Is Gaines being kept in the motel outside of town where other Genoa City resident stunts have gone down?
