Y&R’s Summer & Diane New BFFs, Desperate in Genoa City

Y&R’s Summer & Diane are now Genoa City’s newest BFF out of nowhere. Could Summer Newman BE more desperate?

(Recap) The Last Weekly #WTF on Y&R…

Young & the Restless fans discussed brothers Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) & Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) were both faced with choosing whether a mother or daughter lived.

Golden Boy Nick Newman lucked out yet again & both mother & daughter lived in his scenario. Adam Newman not so much… He & Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) lost their baby girl.

Apparently, the Y&R writers were starved for material & decided to duplicate storylines in the same week.

This week, Young & the Restless has set Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) & Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) up as new BFFs.

This week’s Weekly #WTF on the Y&R

Y&R’s Summer & Diane, GC’s Fresh & Fast Newest BFFs

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has to be losing her mind wherever she is. Her doting daughter Summer has become so desperate that she has taken up a friendship with Diane Jenkins.

Where is Phyllis anyway? Both Young & the Restless fans & Summer have not seen her in weeks.

Regardless, Summer being a doting daughter to her mother back from the dead has now pushed her husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) away & now Summer is alone, except for Diane.

Y&R’s Newest Hot Mess: Summer Newman Without Phyllis

Summer lost Phyllis, & then she found her alive, & now Phyllis is gone again.

Now Summer Newman is Genoa City’s newest hot mess. Summer & Kyle’s marriage has been hanging by a thread since their vow renewal at the Abbott Estate.

Summer has always been tolerant of Kyle’s entitlement. However, once his mother Diane returned from the dead & he almost instantly forgave her, Summer has increasingly found Kyle more & more annoying.

Yet, somehow it’s almost certain that Kyle will be the one in this marriage pulling to plug. How did we get here Young & the Restless fans?

Y&R's Summer & Diane, New BFFs & Summer & Kyle break up.

Harrison & Marchetti: Now Both Pending for Summer

Apparently, faking one’s death in Genoa City is not equal opportunity, at least for Kyle Abbott on Young & the Restless.

Kyle’s mother Diane back from the dead is no problem. Summer’s mother Phyllis faked her death for just a fraction of the time that Diane did, & now Phyllis & Summer can go to hell, per Kyle.

Summer is about to be asked to move out of the Abbott Estate by Kyle. Will Kyle ask Summer to leave Marchetti next? Also, what about little Harrison?

Summer (sort of) got a job with Marchetti on her own with the ill-willed assistance of Sally Spectra & Harrison’s biological mother Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner). Since then Jabot purchased Marchetti.

Also (sort of), Summer is Harrison’s fill-in mother. Harrison’s biological mother, Tara Locke, is supposedly in New York & most likely out of jail for money laundering. Tara never lost custody of her son Harrison & Summer never formally adopted Harrison.

What Do You Think of This Week’s Weekly #WTF?

What do you think about Summer befriending Diane on Young & the Restless? Do you think it’s bull crap as when she befriended Sally Spectra?

Do you think that Summer will lose her job at Marchetti &/or Harrison if she loses Kyle?

How is it possible that Kyle Abbott may win despite him being him yet again?!?…
