It’s true, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) gets knocked down, but always gets back up again… & most Genoa City residents HATE it.
Phyllis is on Probation, More Than Diane Got
There’s no doubt that Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) will flip out once she learns that Phyllis is on probation & is not facing any jail time for her recent crimes. Yet another case of calling the kettle black on Y&R.
How much jail time did Diane face when she faked her death? ZERO… but, she didn’t kill anyone that we know of when she was faking her death so there’s that.
Tucker Is Down a Pawn, Phyllis is Free (Y&R)
Phyllis is free from spending any time in the clink & is no longer in need of Carson The EMT Guy, or Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
How will Tucker react once he learns that he now has nothing on Phyllis? Will he actually be pleased since she will not have any motivation to reveal the skeletons he has in his professional closet? Or, are things already too far in motion between Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), & Mister Tucker himself?
Convenient… Cricket Heads to Portugal (Y&R)
How convenient?… Cricket/Christine Williams/Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) has been invited to have an uncomfortable conversation with her soon-to-be ex-husband Paul Williams (Doug Davidson).
Related… Didn’t Christine & Paul already get divorced? Regardless, Young & the Restless divorced Doug Davidson years ago yet continues to bring up his character Detective Paul Williams as they see fit.
So, almost Squeaky-Clean-Cricket is headed out of Genoa City just as news is breaking that Phyllis is basically free after being charged with an assortment of recent crimes.
Sometimes things just work out. Phyllis isn’t the only one that will be happy with that little bug leaving town for a bit.
Smilin’ Jack Abbott Without Smiles For Now
Smilin’ Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will no doubt turn into ‘Sad Bastard Jack Abbott’ when he learns that his former lover ‘Red’ that put his current lover in the clink will not be spending any time in the clink at all.
How long before Sad Bastard Jack Abbott reverts back into Smilin’ Jack Abbott? Well, that depends. Jack has ongoing Jabot drama with his beloved sister Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). However, Jack claims that he could not be in love more with anyone & that true love is his new wife Diane. It shouldn’t be too long before Jack is smiling again…
Michael Baldwin Reacts with His Wife Lauren
Phyllis Summers’s longest & best on & off again BFF Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) was supposed to be white on rice defending Phyllis of her latest crimes. Michael deferred to Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) in light of some BS business trip. Pretty sure there’s at least a thank-you note in order here…
However, with that being said, Michael should be pleased that Phyllis avoided jail time. Michael most likely will be, but he’ll also be on Phyllis’ case to not screw up her probation. Sturn words from Michael to Phyllis are coming soon.
Like husband, like wife? It’s almost certain that Lauren Fenmore (Tracy Bregman) will have almost the same reaction that her husband does when she learns the latest with Phyllis.
Kids Double Check the Next Time Phyllis Dies
Much like Michael & Lauren, Phyllis’s children will certainly have some tough love.
After Summer did everything in her power to protect her mother, Phyllis still found a way to push Summer away as she did before she faked her death. Summer is sure to bounce back but without some choice words for her mother.
Phyllis’s son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), however, may go either way. Daniel loves his mother just like Summer does, but the same only different. Daniel did support his ex-wife Heather taking over for Michael when that switcharoo came up & that has to stand for something.
No matter how things shake out between Phyllis & her children, there’s going to be some extreme double-checking the next time Phyllis dies.
Phyllis is on Probation with the Newmans Too
Normally, Phyllis wouldn’t care a ton about what the Newmans think, except Summer’s father Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
With Phyllis’s new full-time job working for the Newmans at the new Newman Company, she has been placed underneath all of their thumbs. Phyllis is now a Newman puppet & will need to continue to puppet on their behalf for as long as she works for them up to one year.
