Y&R’s overprotective Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) needs to chill as it pertains to her mother Ashley Abbott (Eileen) & whatever Ashley chooses to do with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

If Abby were still with Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) & not her sperm donor Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) her thoughts & feelings about Ashley & Tucker’s relationship would likely be much different.

Are Abby’s objections to her mother committing to Tucker simply something for her & her new lover & baby daddy who is Tucker’s son to team up on?

Young & the Restless fans have not-so-fond memories of the last time Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor was the center of attention when Chance & Mariah were missing separately.

After Abby supposedly now Newman only cheated on Chance with their sperm donor & is now allegedly committed to him now. Not only is Abby declaring her love to Devon Hamilton now Winters, but she’s also in charge of events that remember his adoptive father Neil Winters (the late Kristoff St. John).

Perhaps it would make more sense if Abby owned &/or actually operated the Genoa City Athletic Club. It seems she’s in this position only as Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) daughter & Devon Winters’s lover.

Sure, Tucker hurt Abby & others before, but not Tucker by Trevor St. John. There’s a new Tucker in town & Abby Newman needs to chill.

Even though the pot calling the kettle black is typically trending on Young & the Restless, Abby… this is your mother. Leave her be & maybe be even happy.
