Y&R’s Most Annoying Woman With Minimal Screentime…
…is Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson)…
Chloe is cute, pretty, smart… the whole deal… but yet SO annoying.
Does Chloe Mitchell not have anything else to do but to tell her newest BFF Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) which Newman brother to date?
Yes, Chloe hates Adam. Sally knows. Young & the Restless fans know. It’s actually quite likely that people that do not even know what Y&R is know that Chloe Mitchell hates Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
However, it seems that Chloe Mitchell does feel the exact opposite about Adam Newman’s brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Instead of Chloe constantly advocating for Sally to date Nick Newman, Chloe should date Nick Newman. Wait, Chloe Mitchell is married to Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikkart)? Technically Chloe is married to Kevin but that’s all it is. Chloe Mitchell talks about Nick Newman WAY more then her husband Chloe also spends way more time trying to get Sally to reboot romatically with Nick then she spends time with husband Kevin.
Even to Chloe Mitchell, Kevin Fisher is pointless.
Genoa City’s Least Favorite Little Bug: Cricket on Y&R
Recently Lauralee Bell celebrated 40 years of playing Cricket/Christine Blair/Christine Williams. Although Cricket has put in 40 years on Young & the Restless, she’s been off & on. Cricket has more time then Chloe, but not by much, & is still annoying…
Another woman on Young & the Restless that is annoying but does not have nearly enough screen time to make this list is one of Cricket’s BFFs Nina Webster (Tricia Cast), but that’s another story for another column.
The not annoying at all, smart, & beautiful Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) is also friends with Cricket, but Young & the Restless fans do not fault Lauren for this. Moving on…
As of late Cricket is still legally Christine Williams yet she seems to be dating her alternate lover, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian).
Musician Danny Romalotti, GCPD Police Chief Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), Danny, then Paul, now Danny again.
Seriously, c’mon Cricket. Christine Blair is beautiful but is otherwise so boring that she is annoying. At least Phyllis Summers is also in Genoa City to spice up Cricket’s scenes on Young & the Restless. Otherwise there would be so much more Y&R fan fast-forwarding.
More Screen Time & More Last Names, Abby Newman…
Is Melissa Ordway still playing Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor? Or, is she simply Abby Newman? This woman changes last names about as often as her current lover adds a name here or there to his son’s name & his name.

Regarless of her last name, little Miss Abby is almost always out of the loop. Seriously, when’s the last time that she had a clue? She hardly ever knows what is going on with the Newmans. Yet inserts herself into her mother’s life if/when she’s bored of her new life with her sperm donor & baby.
Yes, Mr. & Mrs. condescending are living a lovely life after being caught nearly naked by their then respective lovers & are now cutting everyone down in Genoa City.
In addition, it seems that her beloved son Dominic does not get to spend much time with his legal dad & her ex-husband Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd). Chance has went above & beyond for the son that Abby decided to have without him when he was away on duty even after Chance & Abby have divorced. Why is Chance Chancellor living in an apartment meanwhile Miss Abby, Devon & Dom are living in the Chancellor Mansion without Chance having access to Dom whenever as agreed upon??
Y&R’s Most Annoying Women, Diane Jenkins Wins
Well, the apple does not fall from the tree… Just as Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was awarded Most Stupid (Male) on Young & the Restless, Kyle’s mother Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has been awarded Most Annoying (Female) on Y&R.
…& Diane Jenkins wins Most Annoying Woman on Y&R in 2023 in light of the too good of job she did brainwashing both her husband Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) & her son Kyle Abbott after returning from the dead.
Just ask Jack Abbot &/or his son Kyle… Diane can do nothing wrong, at least in 2023.
Diane’s deal with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde)… No big deal. Jack Abbott finding out that Diane had ties with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) in L.A. before coming back from the dead… Yet another no big deal. Diane encourages Kyle to consprie against Tucker without telling Jack… & that’s fine too.
Much like Chloe Mitchell, Cricket, & Abby Newman, Diane Jenkins isn’t at all stupid… She’s simply the most annoying woman on Young & the Restless in 2023.
