Y&R’s Chelsea & Kyle Abbott just so happened to meet up in Chancellor Park again this week. It seems they’ve become fast friends on Young & the Restless.
Since being separated from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) & losing her married man crush Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) to a fatal heart attack, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has been back on the crazy train.
There was speculation that Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) might be Chelsea Lawson’s next victim, but after this week it might be Kyle Abbott.

Chelsea’s ex Adam Newman has obviously moved on with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Adam & Sally not only continue to be the hottest couple in Genoa City, but they continue to get hot inside the Newman Media suite at the Grand Phoenix.
Chelsea Lawson also has a suite at the Grand Phoenix yet they haven’t run into one another yet in the lobby. Once they do, there are sure to be fireworks.
Chelsea is nutty & needy as is without Adam & Sally flaunting their love in front of her at the Grand Phoenix. The death of Chelsea’s latest love interest, Rey Rosales has pushed her into a potentially bad place.
Adam is worried. Chloe is worried. Chelsea says she’s fine. Only now she’s confiding in Kyle Abbott.
Chelsea has somehow avoided Adam & Chelsea at the Grand Phoenix yet manages to run into Kyle Abbott in Chancellor Park on multiple occasions.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) continues to find Chelsea Lawson in Chancellor Park in despair. This week Chelsea & Adam were arguing over Connor’s (care & Kyle walked by at the right time to break things up.
Sure, Chelsea is a little nutty & needy right now, but was Kyle intervening in that conversation with Adam really necessary? Chelsea & Adam were simply having a difference of opinion & both do have Connor’s best interest as a priority.
Regardless of Kyle Abbott’s motives in befriending Chelsea, Chelsea remains nutty, needy, & husband horny. For a spell after Rey’s sudden death, Chance seemed to be her next victim after they were bonding over the loss of their mutual friend.
After Kyle rescued Chelsea from Adam at Chancellor Park they strolled over to Crimson Lights where Kyle rescued Summer from Sally Spectra. After settling down from all the rescuing Kyle & Summer sat down with Chelsea to discuss fashion & the latest with Marchetti.
Chelsea is excited to learn that Jabot is buying Marchetti & will be relocating to Genoa City.
With Chelsea working for Fenmore’s which is partially owned by Jabot & Marchetti entering the fold, there’s potential. Not just professionally, but perhaps personally.
Y&R spoilers suggest that Kyle will run Marchetti once the company has been acquired by Jabot & relocated to Genoa City. Chelsea is already excited about the possibility of working with Summer & Kyle, & by the look on her face anytime she’s in the company of Kyle she’s extra excited about working with him.
Kyle & Chelsea are clearly building a bond. Perhaps there’s a playdate involving Harrison & Connor in their future, & maybe more…
