Ava Hope Newman is alive. Victor Newman knows exactly where she is. Elena Dawson is being put up in luxury somewhere, raising her because that’s exactly what Victor Newman does when he wants something to disappear quietly.
Fight me.
“That Dress Woman” Was Never Good Enough for a Newman
Let’s start at the beginning. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) never, not once, approved of Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for his son, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Not even a little.
He called her “That Dress Woman.” Victor Newman knew exactly who Sally Spectra was. “That Dress Woman” was never ignorant… It was pure Victor Newman arrogance. She never had a chance.
Too funny that “That Dress Woman,” Sally Spectra, is now dating Billy Boy Abbott (Jason Thompson), whose brother is Smilin’ Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), also nicknames coined by The Mustache.

Elena Dawson Was Sally’s Doctor. Now She’s Gone. Coincidence? Absolutely Not.
Here’s where it gets interesting, Y&R fans.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) was Sally Spectra’s doctor when Ava Hope Newman didn’t make it. Elena was there. Elena was involved. Elena knew everything about that delivery & everything about that baby, & then she disappeared from Genoa City without explanation.
No goodbye storyline. No exit. No, “Elena moved to take a new position at a hospital across the country.” Just GONE.
Does all of this sound familiar? Because it should. That’s exactly how Victor Newman operates when he needs someone to vanish without raising suspicion. He doesn’t fire them loudly. He doesn’t make a scene. He writes them a very large check & sets them up somewhere comfortable, & they disappear.
Elena Dawson is somewhere right now living in a beautiful home, raising Ava Hope Newman, & depositing Victor Newman’s money every single month.
The Mustache didn’t just make Elena disappear. He made sure she had every reason to stay disappeared.
Victor Newman’s Motive Is Hiding In Plain Sight
Y&R fans might ask — why would Victor do this? What does he gain from hiding his own grandchild?
Everything.
As long as Adam believes Ava Hope Newman is gone, nothing is tying him to Sally. No shared grief to bring them back together. No co-parenting. No reason to choose Sally over anyone else Victor might prefer for his son.
Victor Newman didn’t hide Ava Hope Newman out of cruelty. He hid her out of strategy, & in The Mustache’s mind, that’s practically an act of love.
Adam Is In Vegas. Chelsea Could Be Out. Sally Could Be Next.
Right now, Adam Newman is in Las Vegas kissing Riza here & there at his leisure. Chelsea Lawson’s days as Adam’s person are potentially numbered. & Y&R fans across social media have been screaming for an Adam & Sally reunion since the day Ava Hope Newman didn’t make it.
Here’s what Victor Newman did not count on — Adam finding out.
Because if Adam finds out that Ava Hope Newman is alive, that Victor paid Elena Dawson to disappear with his daughter, & that Sally has been grieving a baby that is very much breathing somewhere, The Mustache will have finally gone too far even for Adam Newman.
An Adam & Sally reboot with a beautiful daughter, this is what Y&R fans want NOW.
