The Future of Newman Media: Now Acquired by Newman-Locke
After threatening a lawsuit against Newman Media for company name duplication, Newman-Locke acquired Newman Media almost immediately after acquiring Chance Communications.
The catch… Newman-Locke must keep Adam Newman on as CEO of newly acquired Newman Locke & must also appoint him CEO of Chance Communications.
Victora Newman-Locke obviously agreed to the catch, thinking Adam will not at all be interested in working for her, let alone Ashland.
Enter Adam Newman’s new Life Coach… Sally Spectra.

Chloe & Chelsea immediately decide they will be taking their creative fashion endeavors onward & upward — without Sally Spectra.
So, did Victoria really piss off Adam, or did she unknowingly help him? Adam has made it very clear to Chelsea & anyone who knows Chelsea that he & her reuniting their previous relationship is not going to happen…ever… ever… ever…
In the meantime, Sally Spectra has been & continues to be into Adam full-time. It isn’t Chelsea’s first day. Ergo, last week, Chelsea instigated relocating the Newman Media Fashion Platform to another location… Away from Adam. Supposedly Chelsea herself wouldn’t run into Adam on a regular basis, but probably more so that Sally wouldn’t run into Adam on a regular basis.

Oh, dear Chelsea, not only is it over with you & Adam personally, but it is also professionally. Sure, you can kiss Lauren Fenmore’s ass with the assistance of her sister-in-law/your best friend to land another gig… But guess who else has landed another gig? That is Sally Spectra…
It seems Adam not only appreciates Sally Spectra’s business acumen but also her & her mutual charisma & hotness.
Not only has Adam offered Sally a position at Newman Media not pertaining to fashion, but for sure getting down to business, it seems he’s finally owning up to having feelings for her also. How do we know? He said… “I want you as much as you want me… but…”.

But what? What will be the but? This potential power couple needs to finally get together ASAP. Now is the perfect time. Adam made a point during his pitch to hire Sally that Victoria already likes her & that’s half of the battle. Can Y&R fans please see Adam & Sally get down? Heck, Sally & Victoria can even hug again. Let’s mix things up at Newman-Locke & have things trickle out drama-wise in Genoa City!…
As far as ongoing & slightly boring drama goes on in Genoa City goes, Devon & Amanda are still completely annoying as it pertains to the legal custody Dominic-Multi-Last-Name-Chancellor. Not only are they annoying, but they continue to drag other GC residents into this. Lily, who is better than this, is in total support. Now Sharon & her questionable counseling skills are also being considered for this updated arrangement. It’s TBD how Chance going back to work for the GCPD will impact not only him but his relationship with Abby & Dom.
Finally… Phyllis is out, but just for now. Y&R wise, she’s going to Milan to explore a job offer from Marchetti via her daughter, & to spend time with her daughter & her family. Real life-wise, Michelle Stafford needs & has earned a 2-week vacation.
