At least for now Sally still has her job at Newman Media but depending on how crafty her new boss Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) gets, she might get fired again.

Poor Billy Boy… Things got out of hand again in his life. He stepped down from Chance Communications on his own, but instead of embarking on his standard downward spiral, he faked it… Using apple juice.
Sally is motivated by (2) things:
1) Her job at Newman Media.
2) Her infatuation with Adam Newman.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has been sooooooo concerned about what Adam has going on with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) & now it might affect Newman Media… & for sure her crush on Adam.

Just as Sally Spectra took initiative in creating Victoria’s wedding dress for her Wedding of the Century, Sally goes into costume as a blonde woman that only shows up at Society when Billy is drinking apple juice undercover.
Oh, & also coincidentally at a certain local dive bar where Billy has been fake drinking & gambling.
Right-Place-at-the-Right-Time-Sally… (maybe). Sure she ends up in the right place, but her undercover filming abilities leave a bit to be desired… Little does she know
Mr. & Miss Sexual Tension Are Without Plans on New Year’s Eve
Sally Spectra & Adam have enjoyed the sexual tension between one another since Adam brought Sally on his arm to the Newman Media Launch Party.
The sexual tension between these two GC hotties continues as even while getting a bit into the gray area in Tuscany, they have remained professional with ongoing flirting.
In light of the ongoing flirting with boundaries & the brownie points Miss Sally has been earning spying on Billy Boy, it was impossible for Adam to say no to doing nothing with Sally on New Year’s Eve.
We learned this week as Sally was planning their Non-New-Year’s-Eve plans that she does have an apartment now & is no longer a guest at the Grand Phoenix.
When did this happen? Regardless, Sally did make it clear to her crush that her apartment is not appropriate for a non-date.
Alas, Sally & Adam’s Non-New-Year’s-Eve date in Adam’s office at Newman Media…
Classic Sally Spectra… Arrives with her infamous leopard print carry-on bag to work, but this time with appears to be an assortment of decorations from the local Dollar Store encompassing each holiday throughout the year, except for New Year’s.
Shortly after Chelsea creates an emergency for Adam to tend to at the Penthouse, Sally creates an emergency for Adam to tend to at his office at Newman Media. Sally wins & she & Adam end up spending the evening together… Yet again with their clothes on the entire time.
Sure Sally won the NYE competition with Chelsea, but will she win the battle that is both keeping her job at Newman Media & finally spending time with Adam without any clothes on?
Billy Boy Gives Up, Sally Spectra Gets Fired on Young & the Restless
Shit just hit the fan on Young & the Restless…
Billy gives up his apple juice plan & then tells Adam in the company of Sally (no longer) undercover.
Meanwhile preparing to fake gamble at the local diver bar, undercover Sally comes in to capture more material to shoot over to Adam. Jack’s, Lily’s, & Traci’s voices play in his head. Y&R fans are on the edge of their seat to see if Billy is going to gamble for real. For real he doesn’t. He calls undercover Sally Spectra on her bullshit disguise & drags her to Adam’s office at Newman Media.
Adam is NOT happy & makes it very clear to Sally that she is to no longer play spy, for real.
Sally Spectra Gets Fired & What Happens Next on Y&R…
So far, Sally is only fired from spying on Billy on Adam Newman’s behalf. However, has her spying inability including not being able to tell the difference between scotch & apple juice &/or actual gambling vs. fake gambling eliminated the untapped sexual tension with Adam? Furthermore, after Adam got himself out of spending time with Chelsea on NYE, Chelsea managed to catch him spending time with Sally on NYE. Will Sally Spectra lose her job at Newman Media also?
Otherwise in Genoa City, it seems that Devon Hamilton with the help of his live-in girlfriend who doubles as his attorney will proceed with legal action after Abby & Chance declined his request to revise their agreement as it pertains to Dominic. Not only is Amanda in support of this effort, but both local relatives Lily & Nate are also on board. These people are educated. They are not dumb. Devon is the sperm donor with ample opportunity to spend time with the baby he helped create. Chance has barely been home after suffering an explosion abroad while at work. Maybe give Chance, Abby, & Dominic a minute or more to get to know one another & naturally blend as a family…
