Phyllis needs a job ASAP on Young & the Restless. Without purposeful pride, such as her work at her Grand Phoenix, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is out of control.
The Worst Fit for Marchetti, Phyllis on Young & the Restless
Some say try, try again. Phyllis Summers did. She flew to Milan to meet with her daughter Summer Newman (Hunter King) for a potential opportunity to work together.
The then Phyllis Fan Club was against this. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) understood but reminded her that Genoa City was & continues to be her home. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) & his wife Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) attempted to persuade Phyllis of their dear friendship & her triumph of owning & operating the Grand Phoenix.
It wasn’t so shocking, Phyllis went anyway. Guess what… It didn’t work & it had NOTHING to do with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Well, that time it didn’t…
Phyllis Needs a Job, Sold Out & Fired Twice in Short Order on Y&R
Phyllis Summers selling the Grand Phoenix gave her ample time to work with the unlikely alliance of Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) & Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Not only because Phyllis Summers also sold her passion piece for her career, but she also took a made-up job at Marchetti in order to work with her daughter & to keep track of Diane Jenkins.
While it seems to create Marchetti Home for Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) mother Phyllis to run was in good faith, it is Summer who fired her mother from that position. Also, Summer has not replaced her mother at Marchetti.
Then a new position came up at Phyllis’s son’s company that may or may not materialize. It’s not clear if or what company in GC Daniel Romalotti’s new gaming company will survive, but it’s certain Phyllis will not regardless.
Phyllis then found herself bored again & attempting to find purpose. That is how the former Genoa City Hotel Proprietor & fired twice by her own children found herself in Portugal to attempt to help her son.
Genoa City resident, Phyllis Summers needs to be kept busy. She can do anything within the work place as long as it advances her & whoever she is working if they are in good graces.
Now the only person that sees any grace in Phyllis Summers is temporary Genoa City resident Jeremy Stark…
Jeremy Stark Keeps Phyllis Summers Up To No Good in Genoa City
The Phyllis Summers Fan Club had all but closed if not for Jeremy Stark.
Phyllis’ & Stark’s distain for Diane is mutual. Phyllis is unemployed & bored.
Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) is out of prison with nothing to lose. In addition for their distain for Diane Jenkins, there is at least some level of sexual tention that has met one another.
Phyllis Summers is sharp & will not stop at anything when she has her mind to it. Now, everyone in Genoa City but Jeremy Stark thinks they have put Phyllis in her place & she will eventually ease up.
Young & the Restless fans know that is absolutely NOT the case…
