Y&R: Kyle by Michael Mealor, Entitled & In a Suit (Always)

Kyle by Michael Mealor on Young & the Restless is an entitled Abbott brat. He hasn’t realized that even though he’s always in a suit he hereby could not be further from holier than thou.

Like father, like son… Always in a suit, hardly ever working, & increasingly dumber by the day.

From Squeaky Clean & Boring, Now As Dumb As Jack Abbott (Y&R)

Sure, Kyle Abbott didn’t seem that bad before Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) came back from the dead. He had married Summer Newman (Hunter King, Allison Lanier) & become an impromptu daddy to Harrison Locke after an affair with his biological mother, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).

Kyle was pretty much playing by the rules as Co-CEO with his father Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). He then chose to take the position remote to relocate with the love of his life Summer Newman to Milan. This was after the mother of his son maneuvered Summer’s exit from Genoa City to work for Marchetti with the help of Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Kyle the Officiant, Mariah & Tessa Get Married, Surprisingly He Cared

It wasn’t long ago that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) & Kyle were BFFs. Mariah was working with Kyle & his dad Jack Abbott at Jabot. Kyle was engaged to Summer Newman ~ Snowflake to Mariah Copeland ~ & Mariah was to stand up for him.

Not after Mariah committed to standing up for Kyle when he was to marry Summer, she committed to being a surrogate mother for Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) & her husband Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd). This commitment led Mariah to be kidnapped by one of Abby’s ex-lovers.

Yes, Kyle’s BFF at the time Mariah was kidnapped & he didn’t even care.

Once Mariah did return after giving birth to someone else’s baby & receiving minimal support even while her kidnapper is still missing to date, the least Kyle could do would be to be the officiant for her wedding.

Sure, Kyle managed to marry Summer… Actually, he managed to marry her a couple of times in a row without a divorce in between for once… Weird.

Also, it seems Kyle’s treating Tara Locke’s son well & even has his wife Summer on board with being his mother.

However, now that Kyle’s mother is back from the dead, everything has changed.

With a hot wife, an impromptu son, & his mother back from the dead… What can stop Kyle Abbott now?

Oddly enough, it might be his father Jack Abbott &/or his wife Summer Newman. Kyle has pushed Jack away from him at Jabot by teaming up with Victor Newman behind his back. Kyle doubled up lying about his efforts with Victor with lying to Summer also.

Oh, also… Summer could NOT be more sick of Diane.
