The future of Newman Enterprises apparently includes Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), at least for now on Young & the Restless.
Ashland & Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinles) announced this week that Newman Enterprises & Locke’s company have merged together as Newman-Locke.
This of course takes place after Ashland’s terminal illness is revealed meanwhile he & Victoria have entered into an intimate relationship.
Who thinks Ashland is really terminally ill? Aside from occasional shortness of breath, he seems fine.
Who thinks Eric Braeden is retiring? The actor who plays Victor Newman just turned 80 years old this year. Will Ashland be the new Victor in town?

When one doesn’t have much time left, one has to move fast. Both the business merger & merging of living arrangements involving Ashland & Victoria have taken place in record time. They did find time for lovemaking, however.

Stitch is Still in GC | Mariah is Still on Another “Business Trip”
Speaking of Victor Newman, his old boxing buddy Stitch Raeburn (Sean Carrigan) is in town.
Supposedly he’s visiting from Iowa for a former colleague’s retirement party. He awkwardly invited his ex-wife Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) to attend with him & she politely declined. He did go to the retirement party solo… for about 10 minutes. In no time he was chilling solo at Crimson Lights.
Something smells… Why is Stitch A) Still in town? B) In Genoa City in the 1st place for a retirement party he simply made an appearance at? C) All of a sudden has a job offer from Memorial?
Also, Stitch was the last person to see Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) when she was running in the park. Now Mariah is gone. Mariah sends vague messages stating she is okay… but does not take calls, make calls, or send personal text messages.
Where IS Mariah & Abby’s/Chance’s/Devon’s baby?…
Will Sharon & Adam Play While Rey is Away?
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) was enlisted this week to travel with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) & Connor to help her mom recover from breaking her hip. This immediately after returning with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) from the 2nd honeymoon in Miami that “helped” their relationship.
With Rey leaving town & Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) now living at the Ranch, it’s basically guaranteed that Adam & Sharon will end up doing things they are not supposed to be doing. We’ve all seen this movie before…
On the flip-flop, however, what about some inappropriate intimacy between Chelsea & Rey? Sharon & Adam crossing lines & it being tolerated is getting old. Chelsea & Rey getting down would certainly mix things up.
