Victoria gets married to Ashland Locke & surprisingly their wedding reception was super chill. Seriously, no one got drunk.
The after-party at the Palazzo was actually pretty dull… Except if you were behind closed doors.

Victoria Gets Married, & No One Gets Drunk at the Reception
Jesse Gaines had high hopes of disrupting the Newman-Locke wedding & failed. He also failed at livening up the Newman-Locke Wedding Reception. In fact, no one seems to know where Gaines is.
Victor has assured both Victoria & Ashland that Gaines “has been addressed.”
The new couple could not be happier. Peace, champagne, & their guests at the Palazzo. No one has seen Johnny or Katie either, but they were apparently safe with a nanny somewhere.
Once Victoria & Ashland are back in the office Victoria wonders if she should have had her parents bring Johnny & Katie so Billy & Lily (& Jesse Gaines) would not have had to attend.
Johnny & Katie may as well have been with Reed wherever he is as Johnny & Katie were not a part of the ceremony, any meals, or the reception.
Never Dull: Sally Spectra & Adam Newman in Genoa City on Y&R
Nothing is ever dull with Sally Spectra around. Add in Adam Newman & things could not be further from boring…
Adam retreated to his room early during the reception to enjoy a cocktail & eventually some Sally Spectra. It’s not just Chancellor Park, Crimson Lights, or the Grand Phoenix lobby… It’s apparent that Sally can sniff out Adam’s whereabouts no matter where he is…
In this case, Sally was able to find Adam in his room at the Palazzo having more fun by himself than he was at the Newman-Locke Wedding Reception.
Things got hot. Young & the Restless fans were ready. Adam Newman was not.
No one’s clothes came off. The lead-up was hot, but the ending was almost as dull as the Newman-Locke Wedding Reception.
Nick Continues to Whine (not Wine) & Phyllis Leans on Jack
Nick Newman has been such a snooze fest since he left Genoa City for Italy. Yes, Victoria rescinded her invitation to him to her wedding. She then re-extended it as he was already in Italy for Summer & Kyle’s wedding & knew their parents would appreciate as many family members attending as possible.
Did Nick suit up & attend the ceremony? No, he whined to Phyllis & Noah instead.
Not only did he not attend the ceremony, but he almost put a stop to the wedding altogether after finding Jesse Gaines & his tales of Ashland long ago in his room.
Adam caught this in motion & saved the ceremony, then told Nick that he & Victor know what Gaines knows & everything will be okay.
Then Nick continues whining… He’s upset he wasn’t kept in the loop & is jealous of Adam for having some sort of anti-Jesse-Gaines alliance with their dad.
Nick then whines more to Phyllis & updates her that he will be traveling with Noah to London to spend more time with him, & she can fly back to Genoa City on the Abbott Jack solo with Jack.
Phyllis confides & snuggles Jack. Miss Right Place at the Right Time (Sally Spectra) happens to capture a photo of the snuggling after being denied naked intimacy with Adam.
If Only The Original Wedding Dress Designer Was Invited (Lauren Fenmore)…
If only Victoria had invited the designer of her intended wedding dress, Lauren Fenmore, to the Newman-Lock Wedding Reception may have been a bit more lively.
This is especially true if Sally continued on with her wedding dress plan as she did.
We totally missed out on Phyllis & Lauren enjoying several cocktails together meanwhile hating on Sally full-time.
What would have happened if Sally pulled off what she pulled off with Victoria’s wedding dress & Lauren had attended the ceremony?
We missed some fireworks, Y&R fans…
Victoria Gets Married to Ashland & What Happens Next on Y&R…
Newman-Locke Merger continues. Ashland & Victoria are back in Genoa City & back to work. Not for too long, however. Victoria has a surprise honeymoon planned & they’ll be taking off as soon as they are caught up at the office.
It turns out that some time alone was actually what Mariah needed. Tessa is back in Genoa City. The couple had a heart-to-heart… & Mariah’s need for a baby with Tessa has been put on a shelf… up high… with a door… maybe locked with a key. Good thing as Noah ended up making his way back to Genoa City. Mariah may not be pushing Tessa back into his arms after all.
Finally, & unfortunately, Christine shared with Abby & Ashley in person that she has received intel that indicates that a building where Chance is on assignment has been bombed & there are not any survivors. Christine could not confirm, however, if Chance was actually inside the building that was bombed.
How will Victoria follow up her wedding in Tuscany with an even more romantic honeymoon? Are Tessa & Mariah really back on track? What is Noah running from in London or running to in Genoa City? Is Chance Chancellor really dead?
