People who passed who have unfinished business in GC… Who will Young & the Restless bring back from the dead next?
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) son Keemo, or maybe Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) all have unfinished business in Genoa City.
If Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) can come back from the dead, why not Rey, Keemo, or Ashland?

Rey Rosales, Unfinished Business in GC on The Young & the Restless
There’s no doubt that Rey & Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) were quite the snooze fest as a couple, but were very nice to look at.
Just when things were about to heat up for Rey as he was on the verge of crossing the line with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Yes, Chelsea… The woman who tried to kill Rey to get back at Sharon for kissing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
There was increasing flirtation between Rey & Chelsea. Then Rey & Connor became close. Then Rey died tragically suffering a heart attack while involved in a car accident with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) & Ashland.
Did Chelsea poisoning Rey contribute to his fatal heart attack? If Chelsea hadn’t had her then BFF Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) poisoned Rey on her behalf, would have Rey survived the heart attack?
Since Rey’s death, Chelsea has been spiraling out of control. She’s now without her long-time BFF & she’s unemployed. What if Rey Rosales was still alive? There’s no doubt that Chelsea would find time in Chancellor Park with him like she does the other men in GC.
Was Rey Rosales ashamed of his connection with Chelsea & her son Connor? Did Rey somehow fake his death to get out of Genoa City to protect Sharon? Do we know Rey returned to Miami after the car accident but was he dead or alive?
Most Likely to Return from the Dead, Jack Abbott’s Son Keemo
Jack Abbott’s son Keemo had not been referenced or brought up by any of the Abbott’s in years. Then all of a sudden he was dead. Keemo clearly has unfinished business in GC.
Jack Abbott simultaneously learned that his son Keemo had died & his other son’s mother was back from the dead. Then came Jack’s bonus granddaughter Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang).
So, Diane Jenkins back from the dead buys Keemo’s house in L.A. & then reveals to Jack that he has a granddaughter. It was also revealed that Allie does not get along with her mother. How convenient…
If Keemo in fact did die, who claimed his body & where was he laid to rest? Did Allie really have to do with this on her own? Or, did Diane seek out Allie to help her get back into her son Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) life & to attempt to win back Jack?
Someone has to be taking care of Diane’s home that used to be Keemo’s in L.A. Perhaps Keemo is really still alive & he’s taking care of familiar ground to get back at his dad, Jack Abbott.
Could Jesse Gaines Be Hiding Ashland or Tara Locke?
Just like Jack Abbott’s son Keemo, it was not revealed who claimed Ashland’s body & if/when he was laid to rest.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) accidentally killed Ashland, or did he? Ashland’s body was found “dead” in his car in a ravine. Really?!?… Too easy, Y&R fans…
Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) is Harrison’s biological mother regardless of her illegal money squandering. It seems odd that Tara hasn’t been released from prison yet as there are many GC residents who have done way worse & have spent almost no time in the clink.
Even if Tara is still in prison in New York, at this point, it would be reasonable that she would have been able to request access to her son Harrison &/or the man that she was married to who raised that little boy as his own.
Not only does Ashland Locke have unfinished business in Genoa City, but his ex-wife Tara & his blast-from-the-past friend Jesse Gaines do as well.
Who would you like to see back from the dead on The Young & the Restless? Or, would you like to see Diane Jenkins dead yet again?… Or, a combination thereof…
