Chelsea Lawson is unemployed on Y&R & is out of control in Genoa City. Her latest time filler is pursuing a motherly role with Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind).
Either Chelsea is going to go so far off the deep end that she’s going to end up back in Fairview, or it will work for her & Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will end up intimate at a minute.

This week we learned that Johnny Abbott is 13 years old. Wasn’t this kid 5 years old like 10 minutes ago? So, how old does that make his sister Katie? How old is Connor?

Regardless of Johnny or Connor’s ages, Chelsea has been motivated out of boredom to put pressure on Billy & Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to reveal to Johnny that she is his biological mother.
Despite the terms of how Chelsea became pregnant with Johnny being non-consensual on the part of Chelsea, Billy & Victoria agree to share with Johnny who his biological mother is.
Yet we find Victoria Newman & Billy Abbott sitting their son Johnny down in the park to share with him that he’s known his biological mother since he was born & she lives in Genoa City.
Johnny Abbott wants no part of this bio-mom reveal. He’s always known that Victoria did not give birth to him, but has never pushed to find the female that did.
Now Johnny is hibernating in his room & is avoiding both Victoria & Billy. He also doesn’t want anything to do with Chelsea.
Even before Chelsea became unemployed after severing ties with her BFF Chloe & then with Billy Abbott & his podcast, she’s been a total hot mess.
Chelsea continues to be bored only left to stir up trouble.
Whether she’s confiding in men wearing suits that are in committed relationships in the park, enjoying enough martinis at Society to get transported by Chance Chancellor, or trying to impose herself as a mother in Johnny’s life… Chelsea is out of control.
What do you think is next for Chelsea Lawson? Will she stay in Genoa City? Will Adam persuade her to take a family getaway with him & Connor? Maybe she’ll go back to Minnesota to visit her mom. Or, most likely, she’ll stay put & unemployed in Genoa City & will continue to self-implode…
