Y&R Writers & Their Newest Killers, Leading Ladies Sharon & Phyllis
The writers at Young & the Restless have doubled down on another storyline & in short order. Last week Y&R fans watched brothers Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) & Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) being faced to pick whether a mother or daughter lived.
Golden Boy Nick Newman got his way & Sharon & Faith both survived. Adam lost his daughter & likely any chance of getting back together with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) thinks that she has killed Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) but both she & Young & the Restless fans have seen this movie before.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) totally killed Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). Almost anyone can come back from the dead in Genoa City, but it’s almost certain that Stark is really dead.
Regardless, Sharon & Phyllis have both killed men in self-defense. Do they both hire Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to defend them??

Regardless, if Cameron Kirsten is really dead, what Sharon did was clearly in self-defense in addition to protecting her daughter & her daughter’s father.
Oh, & Sharon’s latest love interest when she killed Cameron Kirsten in self-defense this time. Oh, & he happens to be Genoa City’s Detective Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd).
Will Detective Chance Chancellor be called as a witness in Sharon’s presumed trial for murdering Cameron Kirsten?
Ex-husbands in Common, Now Killers in Common, Phyllis & Sharon
Y&R’s Sharon & Phyllis now have another thing in common in addition to ex-husbands Nick Newman & Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). They are now man-killers in self-defense.
Phyllis Summers remains in hiding after faking her death & killing Stark with almost everyone knowing that she isn’t really dead. Well, except for Sharon & Nick. They somehow think that Phyllis is dead, but they have had other things going on.
Perhaps it will work out that Phyllis returns to face all & she & Sharon can go 2-for-1 on a lawyer to defend the both of them killing men in self-defense.
Y&R Writers: Michael Baldwin is Going to Be Busy in Court
It’s almost certain that Michael Baldwin will go straight from defending Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for killing Phyllis to defending Phyllis back from the dead for killing Jeremy Stark.
Now Sharon is going to need a lawyer for killing Jeremy Stark.
Wouldn’t it be most efficient if Michael Baldwin defended both of these leading ladies simultaneously? Their cases are the same only different…
