Diane’s new living arrangements on Young & the Restless are surprising everyone in Genoa City but Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Doesn’t she still have a suite at the Grand Phoenix & her home still in LA?
There’s no doubt that Diane will not be paying anything to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to reside at the Abbott Estate. Diane’s son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is still paying for her hotel suite at the Grand Phoenix. Now still, she has her home in LA that used to be Jack’s son Keemo’s home.
Diane Now Has (3) Residences, The Abbotts Overlook This (Y&R)
Kyle has been paying for Diane’s room & board in Genoa City almost since she arrived. Now Diane has moved into the Abbott Estate & is back together with Jack & in love. Why does she still have a suite at the Grand Phoenix that was just down the hall from Jeremy Stark (James Hyde)?
It’s also noteworthy that Jack asked Diane to send for her things in LA & she politely declined. Has Jack Abbott completely lost this mind? Why does Diane Jenkins have three residences?
Pathological Liar of The Year, Diane Jenkins in Genoa City on Y&R
Lies, lies, & yet more lies continue to unravel out of Diane Jenkins’ mouth, yet both Jack & Kyle continue to turn a blind eye. Ashley Abbott has called Diane out on her BS for the most part but has not asked about the number of living arrangements Diane has & why she has three.
Kyle’s wife Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) has also had enough of Diane. Summer’s disdain for Diane & Kyle’s lies is driving this once annoyingly happy couple to a pending separation.
Diane’s New Living Arrangements & a New Position at Jabot, Y&R
Now that Diane Jenkins is back with Jack Abbott, she is asking to be promoted at Jabot Cosmetics. After Summer’s mother Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was let go from Marchetti Home, no one has replaced her.
Replacing Phyllis with Diane will no doubt add additional drama for the Abbotts.
However, is the position of running Marchetti Home all that Diane Jenkins is after? Likely, not. Why else would she be keeping a backup residence in LA? It’s still not clear who is taking care of the property & the Abbotts haven’t asked.
Also, Kyle did catch his mother Diane with her feet up on Jack’s desk meanwhile daydreaming…
How much longer will Kyle continue to pay for her room & board at the Grand Phoenix while she’s living inside the same home as his dad, himself, & his now upset wife?
There’s no doubt that Diane still has something up her sleeve. It’s rumored that Jeremy Stark will return to Genoa City. How will Stark’s return affect another story of Jack & Diane?
