Mariah Copeland is missing with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway’s) baby. It seems her business trip is bullshit.
As far as we know, Stitch/Ben Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) was the last person to see her. Since then it appears she’s being held in a cheap hotel.

Business Trips & Running While Pregnant, Now Mariah is Missing
What is the deal with Mariah Copeland taking a business trip(s) & running outside while pregnant with someone else’s baby?
Early on in her pregnancy, she found a reason to go on a business trip to avoid dealing with morning sickness in front of the current residents of the Chancellor Estate. Yes, to Mariah, morning sickness on a plane is better than morning sickness in front of her girlfriend & the mother of the baby she is carrying. #WTF
Currently, she is supposedly on another business trip carrying someone else’s baby, however, Young & the Restless resources tease she’s actually being held against her will in a cheap hotel.
How & why is Mariah Copeland being held in a cheap hotel in God knows where?…
Maybe it’s because of the running… Again, why is this woman running outside while pregnant with someone else’s baby while she has no track record of being a runner?
The last we know, Stitch was the last person to see Mariah in the park as she was out for another run.
Stitch is (Still) in Town & Mariah Copeland is Missing on Y&R
Speaking of Stitch… he’s still in town. What was pitched by “Ben” as a short trip to attend a former colleague’s retirement party has turned into an extended stay & now acceptance of a formal job offer from Memorial with relocation plans.
Conveniently his hot ex-wife has agreed to help him find a space to leave & seems to be welcoming his return to Genoa City with open arms.
Nina is in Town… Until the Baby Arrives
With hotel guests continuing to move out of the Grand Phoenix, it seems that just as many GC residents reside there as in the Chancellor Estate.
One of them, is Chance Chancellor’s (Connor Floyd) mom, Nina Webster (Tricia Cast)… but just until the baby arrives.
#WTF is that about? Why would Nina, the Grandmother of this forthcoming baby, leave once it arrives? Wouldn’t Abby need more help after the baby arrives rather than right now?
Chance’s return date is still totally pending. There is no guarantee that he will be back prior to Mariah giving birth. What if he still isn’t back? What if Nina really does leave? Mariah & Tessa (Cait Fairbanks would hopefully want to return to their home & lifestyle & carry on with their plans.
Something smells… This week Abby & Tessa agree on the red flags with Mariah’s current communication style which is text-only & isn’t in her usual cadence.
They agree that more should be done to locate her including tracking her phone. Nina reminds Abby & Tessa that Mariah “has communicated” that she needs space & will be back by her next doctor’s appointment.
Nina claims to be concerned that Mariah will be annoyed by the extra efforts to track her down & wonders if it’s the right thing to do.
What grandma-to-be would react this way to this situation?
Does Nina have something to do with Mariah’s “business trip?” Is Chance somehow involved? Does Cricket know what’s going on? Where is Mariah Copeland?
Mariah Copeland is Missing & What Happens Next on Y&R…
It’s clear Mariah is being held against her will. It is not clear, however, who is holding her & why. In true magical soap opera time, we shall hopefully have some incite by the end of next week.
Otherwise… Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is onto Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) & Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) & we all know this is going to be good.
