Somehow after Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) liquidated Ashland in New York, he managed to depart to Genoa City after Victoria left in the Newman Jet solo.
Young & the Restless fans are asking how Ashland is being funded… With what money & where does it come from…

Victoria Newman has finally given up on Ashland. She took his money.
That is some serious Newman-inspired action.
Yet somehow Ashland instantly found the monetary resources to fly from New York to Genoa City.
Even in soap opera land, there is not a major airport hub in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
After Ashland returned to Genoa City not long after Victoria landed via the Newman Jet, he checked into the GCAC.
How is Ashland Locke possibly paying for his stay at the Genoa City Athletic Club? Not to mention his food, beverage, & drycleaning…
Ashland Locke is getting his money from somewhere. With his ongoing trail of the wildest of lies, the traditional way for a bank loan or other financial institution methods would be a long shot.
It seems the only option for Ashland Locke to get his hands on some cash ASAP would be to phone a friend.
Ashland has run out of friends, or maybe not on Young & the Restless…
The last Y&R fans had confirmed with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) that she was spending time in jail in New York for some money laundering. She has to be out by now. People that Tara Locke got to know in GC have done way worse & have managed not to set one foot in a jail cell.
Why would Tara Locke help Ashland if she is in fact out of jail & somehow has some money? That would be to be able to reconnect with her son Harrison, of course.
Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) remains a Wild Card on Young & the Restless. It’s not clear at all where he’s currently hunkering down & he’s bound to bounce back at any time.
Why would Jesse Gaines help Ashland Locke if he had the funds? Perhaps to get back at everyone in Genoa City that was supposedly going to help him bring down Ashland.
What if both Tara Locke & Jesse Gaines materialize in being Ashland Locke’s current source of cash flow? What if both Tara & Jesse come back to team up with Ashland to bring down all of the GC residents that did them wrong?
