In Devon Hamilton’s mind, the world revolves around Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
Devon was asked to be a sperm donor by Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). He agreed & paid Abby back by hiring his live-in girlfriend who is also a lawyer to demand shared custody.
Y&R fans should have seen it coming.
Once the woman that was carrying the baby that Devon provided his sperm donation to was located after being held captive & only found just before going into labor, Devon could not have had a bigger smile on his face.
It appears that Devon Hamilton has an entirely different idea of what friendship is.
Putting on the biggest smile he has ever smiled when his friend is in labor with your other friend’s baby is absolutely disgusting.
Later demanding shared custody of said baby after a very clear contract was agreed to & signed off by all parties makes Devon a total ass.

Debbie Downer Devon ended up with a new love after his former lover Elena cheated & took up dating his cousin Nate.
Fun Fact… She’s Devon’s deceased wife’s identical twin sister.
So, Devon finds love again somehow with an exact replacement of the wife his sister Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) provided an assist in killing & ultimately spent time in prison for.
Not so shocking… Devon Hamilton still is a Debbie Downer…
