The Daytime Emmys have to be kidding Young & the Restless fans. Miss Could Not Be More Boring (Christine Blair-Williams, otherwise known as Cricket played by Lauralee Bell) & her boyfriend for the 100th time Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) present the award that Y&R actually won & had no business doing so.
Really, Daytime Emmys?!?… The soap opera that is putting a legacy Y&R character back with her supposed love of her life after he’s been back in Genoa City not longer than 10 minutes wins?!? Serious, WTF on Y&R?…

If anyone was going to win any award in the name of Young & the Restless, it should have been Melissa Claire Egan who plays Chelsea Lawson.
Melissa Claire Egan acted her ass off when acting through Josh Griffith’s mental health storyline. Why didn’t Missy win an award?
Seriously, Chelsea didn’t die & Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) died & came back from the dead in short order. One of these Young & the Restless lovelies should have won.
Well, the 2023 Emmys did accomplish something favorable in the name of Young & the Restless. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is smiling again…
The Best Daytime Writing Team, according to the Daytime Emmys, has turned legacy character Jack Abbott into a wallowing dumb ass. Jack Abbott has been hard to watch. In addition, Josh Griffith has made sure that the apple does not at all fall from the tree with Jack’s son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Seeing Peter Bergman smile throughout the awards ceremony gave Young & the Restless fans all the warm fuzzies. At least for that evening, Y&R fans enjoyed Smilin’ Jack Abbot again.
Perhaps Young & the Restless blasts from the past are more valuable than actual Daytime Emmy Awards??… Maybe?

Finally… Love them or hate a few of them, the Young & the Restless cast was dressed to the nines… Except Brytni Sarpy…
Brytni Sarpy’s stylist or whoever told her that dress was a beautiful choice for her to wear should be fired IMMEDIATELY.
Brytni Sarpy who plays Elena Dawson on Young & the Restless is absolutely beautiful inside & out. Did someone pay Brytni to wear that horrible dress as a joke?!? Yet again, WTF on Y&R?
