The Office Dinner Party episode is arguably one of the BEST episodes during the entire series of The Office. Jan Levinson NAILED it.

The Office Dinner Party Episode on The Office, Jan Levinson Nails It

The 4th season of the office, episode 13 provides the dinner party from hell that most would not like to attend, but that almost all fans of The Office cannot stop watching.

The Dinner Party Episode on The Office, Jan Levinson.

While this episode could not be made possible without the guests of the Dinner Party or Michael Scott (Steve Carell), it is Miss Jan Levinson (Melora Hardin) that tipped it into something that cannot be recreated.

Serenity by Jan Levinson on The Office, Jim Halpert is a Hard No

After tours of Michael & Jan’s condo were provided, it was time to talk business.

Tours of Michael & Jan’s condo include Jan’s two workspaces, the bed where Jan sleeps & the cot at the foot of the bed where Michael sleeps, & their video camera that is used when Jan lets Michael into bed.

The Dinner Party Episode on The Office, & Jan's Candles

The condo tour wrap-up meeting ends with a pitch by Michael Scott to invest in Serenity by Jan Levinson.

Andy Bernard (Ed Helms) briefly considered it, but Andy Bernard considers almost anything.

Similar to Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) turning down Michael Scott flat later in the series when Michael asks Jim to join him at The Michael Scott Paper Company, Jim is a hard no to investing in Jan’s candle company.

Jan Puts on a Free Concert Inspired by Hunter, Now More Awkward…

Jan preparing the dinner for the Dinner Party takes almost forever. Two more guests show up. Jan alludes to Pam Beesley (Jenna Fischer) that she’s totally aware of Michael & Pam being intimate together.

Now Pam is scared Jan has/will poison her food. Jan has already displayed without a doubt during this dinner party that she is in fact nuts.

Before the Dinner Party guests know it, Jan breaks out in song singing along to her past assistant Hunter’s songs. In or out of The Office, most would agree that Jan & Hunter’s relationship was questionable on a number of levels.

Once the St. Pauli Girl beer sign lit up, you know what hit the fan…

The Demise of Michael’s $200 Plasma TV, The Dinner Party Episode

This infamous episode of The Office wraps up with Jan taking one of Michael Scott’s Dundie Awards to his $200 plasma TV & destroying it.

Before long the cops show up & this Dinner Party from Hell comes to a close.

Michael ends up staying with Dwight K. Schrute (Rainn Wilson) without this date that used to be his babysitter that were both late arrivals to the event. Jim steals Jan’s CD of Songs by Hunter & he & Pam enjoy the music & a couple of hotdogs.
