Phyllis & Stanley Make Jim Wonder, Wine & Lobster on The Office

Phyllis & Stanley on The Office totally peeled Jim Halpert’s (John Krasinski) grapes at lunch one glass at a time, with a side of lobster…

…& it’s Not My 1st Day watching The Office…

Drunk at Lunch on The Office, Sponsored by Jim Halpert

This is great. Jim is forced to figure out how to be in Philly more often to grow his new company while still keeping his job at Dunder Mifflin Scranton with the same pay.

David Wallace (Andy Buckley) is on board as long as Jim can come up with some inter-office backup & balls do not get dropped.

Jim hits up Stanley Hudson (Leslie David Baker) & Phyllis Vance (Phyllis Smith) & extends an invitation for lunch to discuss. Stanley & Phyllis except.

Classic Stanley… He orders the Surf & Turf with a side of Surf. Yes, 2 servings of lobster, with steak & wine.

Phyllis obviously orders food also… & wine. A lot of wine. She literally inquires with the waiter as to how much wine they have. Phyllis later attempts to uncork a giant decorative bottle of wine near their table. As if she or Stanley needed more…

Basically, Stanley & Phyllis get drunk at lunch, sponsored by Jim. This all the while Jim is trying to pitch the both of them covering him when he has to be in Philly.

Jim’s Grapes Get Peeled on The Office

Jim Halpert lost hope in Phyllis & Stanley backing them up as fast as the wine flowed. It turned out, however, that co-workers Phyllis & Stanley did have Jim’s back after all…

Jim safely drove his two co-workers whom he sponsored getting drunk at lunch back to Dunder-Mifflin without hope… Until Phyllis & Stanley woke up from their after-lunch snooze.

As Jim was about to put a bow on (actually, a blanket) trying his best to get his co-workers to cover him as he’s trying another career in Philly, Jim’s drunk co-workers wake up.

It turns out Phyllis & Stanley were going to have Jim’s back regardless. After all, they love his family. They simply wanted an indulgent free lunch with a lot of wine.

Seems fair…
