Mariah is finally found… Finally.
This has been the longest storyline ever… but why?
Kyle was able to fly to Italy during a mere commercial break, but it took over a month for Mariah to realize there was a camera in her room after staring at the same 4 walls for that same amount of time.
“Mariah’s behavior” has been out of the ordinary since she left on this “business trip.” Sharon blew this behavior off as hormones related to her pregnancy. Abby & Tessa bought into what ended up being texts sent from Stitch stating she needed space. Nina agreed & got on board & was supportive of this.
Co-CEOs, Jack & Kyle Abbott still haven’t cared or put forth any effort to find Mariah.
Abby waited until her eventual breaking point to finally tell her dad Victor Newman that Mariah has been missing.
Finally… Tessa called it & has alas been adamant that something isn’t right & Mariah is in danger. One by one (except for the Abbotts), those closest to Mariah are starting to worry & come together to find her.
What if any of these people closest to Mariah paid attention to the ongoing red flags popping up since Mariah “left town?”
It’s apparent should revise her friend list & her relationship with her mother…

Mariah is Finally Found on Y&R… & Gives Birth!
This week wrapped up with a bang. Mariah is finally found… & she has Abby’s baby.
Just as many Y&R fans suspected, Stitch had Mariah. This whole time… #WTF
Yes, Stitch has had Mariah. The same Stitch that everyone in Genoa City welcomed back with open arms & trust… Even his ex-wife Abby on Young & the Restless.
Abby bought what Stitch was selling. She totally bought into his comfort & concern for her situation meanwhile not picking up at all that he was always in the right place at the right time.
For many Young & the Restless fans, it was clear on social media throughout the time Mariah has been missing that something smelled with Stitch being back in town.
- Why would Stitch make a special trip back to GC for a colleague’s retirement party?
- Why did Stitch invite Abby to the retirement party? She politely declined the invitation.
- Why did Stitch only stay at the retirement party for a bit & then wrap up the evening at Crimson Lights?
Answer: Stitch had a plan…
Stitch’s Motivation: TBD… This is unclear.
Victor, Devon, & Rey (sort of) to the Rescue | Mariah is Finally Found on Y&R
Along with having Ashland Locke investigated, Victor hired out an investigation for Mariah after Abby finally let him know the surrogate of her baby had been missing for weeks.
Sperm donor & mutual friend of both Abby & Mariah gets involved as well. He hires a detective & begins digging on this own.
Rey Rosales finally gets involved & puts forth an actual effort to locate Mariah.
Victor, Devon, & Rey finally conclude that Mariah’s phone might be in Stitch’s room at the Grand Phoenix. They were right. Meanwhile, Abby politely interrogates Stitch & he ultimately brings her to Willow Lane where Mariah has been being held & also has been being fed protein bars for pregnant women.
In just a tad more time than it took Kyle to fly to Italy to reunite with Summer, Mariah was finally found & had the baby.
Apparently, Abby-Newman-Abbott-Chancellor delivers babies now…
Y&R fans are left to wonder what would have happened if someone would have cared sooner… & made an honest effort to find Mariah.
Mariah is finally found & What Happens Next on Y&R…
It would make sense that Mariah would ask where the hell she is & who held her up… & why.
Some Y&R fans suspect that Mariah will have challenges following through with this baby actually being Abby’s & not wanting to keep it. This situation is likely challenging in some circumstances as is. Mariah being held up pregnant with someone else’s baby for weeks for sure adds another layer.
Will Mariah & Tessa move out of the Chancellor Estate? What about her mom Sharon & her BFF Kyle? Will Mariah reconnect with these people that were supposedly close to her that made almost zero effort to help find her? Has Jack Abbott held Mariah’s spot at Jabot or has she been replaced?
Victor Investigates Ashland | Nick & Billy Boy Abbott Smell Something
Victor ordered an investigation 2 for 1 when hiring someone to investigate Ashland & to track down Mariah. Nick & Billy Boy Abbott both agree that something isn’t right with Ashland as well. Apparently, it’s possible that Ashland married into his money with an older woman. Time will tell if this is true & if it matters…
Victoria is now finally starting to question Ashland… in her mind, at least.
Meanwhile chatting at home about the merger being finalized next month, Ashland shows Victoria his plans for the Newman-Locke twin towers in Genoa City. It’s obvious that Victoria is caught off guard. Ashland mentioned after his diagnosis to have just 6 months to live.
Now that he is taking treatment, completing a merger, & getting married… he’s apparently going to live at least 3 more years to see the completion of the 2nd tower.
Is Ashland really sick? If not, who will learn this first? Regardless, are Victoria & Ashland really in love?
Sally Spectra & Adam Newman: Sparks Fly
Sally Spectra’s next victim… it seems it’s her boss’s boss, Adam Newman. Y&R fans can really use the level of spice this couple would bring to Genoa City, especially after sitting through the ongoing & boring Mariah-missing storyline.
Could Sally & Adam be any hotter together? Sparks are already flying & Y&R fans want to see more.
Sally will have to of course juggle her crush on her boss’s boss meanwhile designing Victoria’s wedding dress according to the specs she overheard Victoria share with Nikki during a wedding planning session at Crimson Lights.
If Victoria & Ashland’s pending nuptials in Italy do happen, will Sally Spectra be Adam Newman’s date? If Sally’s design is chosen for Victoria’s wedding dress it’s more than guaranteed.
It seems a dry run will be in order for the Newman Media Launch…
Genoa City Residents Back in Town: Aunt Traci | Gloria
Aunt Traci is back in town! Finally. Your niece Abby needs you. While Mariah has been finally been found & the baby has been born, Abby will still need ongoing support.
Who better to sub in for Abby’s mother than her Aunt Traci?…
Also, Gloria is also back in town. Actually, she may have been in town this whole time, but for some reason laying low.
It was never revealed what happened with the mysterious jump drive that Gloria had acquired most likely to blackmail another resident in Genoa City.
Regardless of what she’s been up to, she’s done with being Lauren’s assistant at JCV & successfully manipulated Lauren into giving her Sally Spectra’s former position at JCV on a temporary basis.
Will Gloria last longer than Sally Spectra at JCV? Any amount of time that Gloria is in this position is sure to be interesting… & we Y&R fans need it.
