Limited sets on Y&R have been yielding almost an endless amount of intimacy on couches… & business.
Sure, they got down on an actual bed initially when they both were shacking up at the Grand Phoenix. But ever since they moved to Chesnut Street (where Billy & Phyllis used to live together & get down), they only get down on their living room couch.
At least they are getting down all of the time, but that’s not the only thing they do on their couch. They also eat, host guests, & do business (actual work). Sort of gross? Are Billy & Lilly involved in some couch sex fetish or is Young & the Restless simply low on money, ergo sets that have beds?
Billy & Lily aren’t the only couple in Genoa City in a relationship with their coach, Abby & Chance are also. This couple also does a variety of things in their living room other than being intimate. As a matter of fact, Devon just signed papers giving him shared custody of Dom as Abby & Chance held Dom on their couch with Christine & Amanda to witness.
At least Abby & Chance have attempted to have sex in their bedroom. Apparently, it’s upstairs at the Chancellor Estate…

Aside from her representing Devon in his efforts to have shared custody of Dominic & make little Dom’s last name even longer at Devon’s penthouse & the Chancellor Estate, we only see her do business on the couch in the lobby of the Grand Phoenix.
The Worst Couch Award goes to Sharon. How old is this thing? How many husbands, let alone men has she had sex with on this couch? Coincidentally, it’s also a good place for her kids to bond & catch up, & for her to counsel clients.
How about an office, Sharon? You own & operate a coffee house. Maybe have a space there to provide counseling. Or, have you heard of Zoom? Regardless, it’s time for a new couch.
