Young & the Restless was funny without Tucker McCall this week… What?!? This is now possible?!?
Now, to date, one of the most funny Weekly #WTF’s on Y&R…
This week on Young & the Restless ended with Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) taking his (2) favorite ladies to lunch at Society.
Some Y&R fans would say Chances’s (2) favorite ladies are currently his current lover Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) & his new female & flirtacious BFF Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
Since Chance Chancellor was shot & almost immediately released from Memorial Hospital in Genoa City, he revealed that his (2) favorite ladies are his current lover Sharon & his mother Nina Webster (Tricia Cast).
Summer Newman wasn’t completely left out of this Society lunch, however. Not long after Nina invited Chance’s ex-wife Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) to join herself, her son, & her son’s current lover ~ Summer conveniently walked in.
Nina inviting Abby to join this lunch was totally on point & totally laugh in the inside funny.
Sharon Newman is certainly not who Nina has in mind for her beloved son Chance Chancellor. Adding Abby would piss Miss Sharon right off. Then, adding a bonus layer, Nina does not have much time for Chance’s ex-wife Abby since she was caught having sexual intercourse with the sperm donor of her son & Abby’s baby by Chance himself along with the sperm donor’s current girlfriend.
Seriously, Nina Webster should have immediately been brought popcorn by The Bartender in the Purple Shirt at Society. Well done, Nina Webster, well done.
Then… To top things off… The icing on the cake… Abby Newman seriously questioned her niece Summer about what she has going on with Chance.
Obviously age is not a problem in Genoa City, Abby.
Also Miss Abby… you cheated on your husband with your sperm donor & are now living with him inside the Chancellor Mansion while Chance Chancellor is living an apartment near GCPD.
Perhaps Miss Abby Newman should stay in her lane…
It was only a matter of time before Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) found her way back to the sauce. Who knew the path back to vodka would be via Nikki’s new assistant Claire Grace (Hayley Erin)?
There is no doubt at this point that Crazy Claire has motivation to bring Nikki & her family down, but what is that motivation?
Regardless, Crazy Claire has used her research of the Newman family & has ergo included an IV of straight vodka into her not-so-beloved boss’s arm that is supposed to stay far, far away from the sauce.
The IV of straight vodka was one thing… Quite a thing, actually…
…But then Nikki was served a bottle of what looks like rail vodka in a giant bottle on a silver platter.
Did Miss Claire not read the part about Nikki’s early days starting out as a stripper & then meeting The Almighty Victor Newman?
Regardless, in light of Nikki Newman being an ongoing total bitch attitude to her stepson Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) after he saved her grandaughter’s life along with her beloved son Nick Newmans (Joshua Morrow), her being served a giant bottle of rail vodka on a silver flatter is at least somewhat amusing.
How better to wrap up a week’s worth of laugh in the inside worth of funnies on Young & the Restless then one sponsored by The Almighty Victor Newman??…
Finally, what Y&R fans have been running through their minds over & over again for years in regard to Victoria & her choices in men & how it affects her work at Newman Enterprises…
…& then there was the frosting on the cake from Victor to Victoria: “You would have nothing without Newman Enterprises or me!”
Victoria Newman has brought all of her husbands to work. Perhaps she should stop that.
Regardless, Young & the Restless fans will surely have their popcorn popped & ready for when Nikki Newman is finally found & rescued & all of the Newmans love one another again… even Adam… at least a little.
Was this week on Young & the Restless laugh out loud funny like it was with Tucker McCall before he & Ashley separated? Maybe not… but Y&R fans haven’t laughed this hard in the inside in quite some time.
