Happy Days on Friends… Yes, have you ever noticed when watching Friends reruns that both Three’s Company & Happy Days are featured here & there throughout the series?
For all of you loyal Friends fans, this will be a quick review…
The first reference I remember is early in the Friends series when Phoebe & Chandler are enjoying an episode of Three’s Company.
Here you can watch how Chandler mentions that this is the episode where there is some type of misunderstanding.
Phoebe immediately reacts stating that she’s already seen that one, gets up, & walks away…
Another Three’s Company reference comes along much later within the Friends series. This comes as Monica & Chandler continue to stall on getting married, but do decide the next step for them is to move in together.
The couple shares this with roommate Rachel & she goes ahead & is super happy for the 2 of them, but assumes that she does not have to move & Chandler will be residing with her & Monica.
Hence, a quick Come & Knock & Door rendition was put on by Rachel as she is thinking she’s getting herself into a Three’s Company lifestyle & seems excited about it.

Remember when Phoebe had her half-brother’s triplets?
Long story short, Phoebe’s half-brother ended up marrying an older woman & they wanted to have a baby. Due to medical shortcomings, Phoebe’s half-brother’s wife was not able to become pregnant.
Ergo, they implanted some embryos created with Phoebe’s half-brother’s stuff & his wife’s stuff without any guarantee Phoebe would get knocked up. Whoops, Phoebe wound up pregnant with triplets.
Click here to see “Dr. Fonz” creep the crap out of Phoebe during the birthing process which ultimately results in her demanding Ross to find her a new “non-Fonz” doctor.
Another Happy Day on Friends was when “Strip Happy Days” was invented…
The gang ends up going to a beach house that is flooded out & filled with sand & without electricity. This episode is also pre-smartphone, so they are extra super-duper bored.
To pass the time Joey thinks that it would be great to play strip poker. No one wants to play strip poker as it’s a group of close friends that are not drunk quite yet.
Also, Ross & Monica are siblings.
Phoebe comes back from meeting up with who ends up being her actual biological mother to find everyone super-bored. She spins & points & declares that whoever she lands on gets to pick what they will do next & everyone has to do it. Whoops, she lands on Joey, & oops, he picks strip poker.
The conundrum finally meets its head when Joey is not able to come up with any cards & can only come up with the Happy Days game.
Thank you, Joey — we now have Strip Happy Days Game.
During The One with The Race Car Bed it turns out that just a snippet of the Happy Days theme song plays as this episode opens, but then this happens:
“Ross: When you guys were kids, and played, uh, “Happy Days”, who were you? I was always Richie.
Monica: I was always Joanie!
Joey: Question. Was, uh, “Egg the Gellers!” the war cry of your neighborhood?”
