Enjoy lunch, day drinks, & the Original Wisconsin Ducks. To be more specific, enjoy lunch & day drinks downtown Wisconsin Dells & then enjoy a (free) Duck ride to the Ducks on Wisconsin Dells Parkway.
Stop by the infamous Showboat Saloon for lunch & day drinks. If you would prefer not to have something too heavy for lunch to instigate a daytime nap, try their Caprese Pizza.
Thin crust, cut into squares, with fresh tomato, basil, & mozzarella… drizzled with balsamic.
After lunching & a couple or few day drinks, head down the block to cross the street to catch a free safe ride — in a Duck — to the Ducks. Look for Ripley’s Believe It or Not & be ready to board on the top of the hour or half past the hour during the day.
Take a Duck to the Ducks! Put your Uber & Lyft apps away. The Original Wisconsin Ducks provides free rides from downtown Dells to their location on Wisconsin Dells Parkway in the Lower Dells.
Across the street from Showboat, & down the street from Nigs, look for Ripley’s Believe It or Not… Safe ride Ducks to the Ducks are picking up & dropping of Duck passengers at both the top of the hour & the half-hour.
Whether you are getting your day drink on or not downtown Dells, taking a Duck to the Ducks bypasses you having to deal with traffic & parking.
Enjoy the view of the Wisconsin River & other attractions on the way there & back.

Whether you purchased your Duck ride ticket ahead or waited until you arrived on-site, you can purchase food & beverages on-site to enjoy on the Duck.

Yes, the Original Wisconsin Ducks splashdown in both the Wisconsin River & Lake Delton. Check out the actual Dells (the beautiful rocks & rock formations that line the Wisconsin River), & Lake Delton (a man-made lake enjoyed by many that went dry in 2008, but is full again).
Your Duck driver will teach you all about the beauty & history along the way on both land & water. Be prepared for corny jokes, extreme hospitality, & a new appreciation for the actual Wisconsin Dells.
To thank your Duck Driver for an awesome & informative ride, tip him or her as you safely step off of the Duck to get on a safe ride Duck to head back downtown Dells.
Your Duck Driver will also have small books available for a small fee that sum your Duck ride with great notes & great photos.
Again, just down the main drag from Ripley’s where you will be safely returned to downtown Dells after enjoying the Ducks, is Nig’s.
One cannot Not have a swig with Nig when imbibing downtown Dells.
It’s worth noting that Nig’s does not serve food. Ergo, this is why it makes sense to lunch at Showboat, then ride the Ducks, then hit up Nig’s.
Nig’s has been a fixture downtown Dells for many, many years. This classic dive bar offers all the daytime drinking necessities (strong cocktails, gambling, & shooting pool). Things get loud at Nig’s at night with a DJ & dancing.
Despite the labor shortage that many businesses are facing currently during 2021, it appears the Original Wisconsin Ducks are somehow immune.
Beginning with getting on a Duck downtown to get on the Ducks, to getting an actual Duck, to getting returned downtown… It flows. Basically no waiting. Get on one Duck, get on another Duck, then get on a 3rd Duck to get back downtown Dells.
