Finally… Adam & Sally Spectra Do It. It’s so exciting!
What’s not exciting… Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) & Victoria Newman (Ameilia Heinle) haven’t kissed let alone barely touched one another since Robert Newman replaced Robert Burgi as Ashland Locke.
How long will Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) & Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) keep on doing it, & how long will it take for Victoria & Ashland 2.0 to even make out?

Adam & Sally Spectra Do It… Finally… On a Desk, a Couch, & a Bed!
Finally, a couple getting hot on Young & the Restless other than Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) & Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) (on their couch)… Adam Newman & Sally Spectra.
Not only have Y&R fans been longing for a couple to get down on an actual bed, or anywhere else but their living room couch, fans have been on the edge of their seat waiting for Adam & Sally’s ongoing sexual tension to finally break down.
Adam & Sally have come so close to getting down both at the Newman Media Launch Party & Ashland & Victoria’s Wedding of the Century in Tuscany.
Apparently, things have changed on Young & the Restless.
Adam has made it ABUNDANTLY clear to Chelsea that the two of them will not be getting back together ever, ever, ever.
Then with Newman Media being in the final stages of being acquired by Newman-Locke & Victoria dropping the Newman Media Fashion Platform (see also Lauren Fenmore’s new employees, Chelsea & Chloe), that leaves Adam & Sally with positions open… personally & professionally (wink, wink).

So, on paper, it kind of looks bad…
Sally has been after Adam since her crush on Jack Abbot (Peter Bergman. In related news, so many people (both fictional & real) are so glad that did not work out. All of a sudden Miss Right Place at the Right Time (Sally Spectra) is appointed COO of Newman Media second in command to her current extreme crush… & now they have sex…
Don’t worry. There is nothing to see here… Except that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is not dumb. He gets it.
After a few questions about that ‘Dress Maker’ to Adam & Adam passing Victor’s pop quiz, Victor had one final bonus question… Will you spy on Ashland Locke… He’s up to something.
Adam obviously agrees. Adam & Sally keep their jobs. Victoria is wondering what the hell is up.
In celebration… Adam & Sally have sex in/on a bed (at the Grand Phoenix). While Y&R fans are super excited to see any Genoa City couple get down anywhere else than a couch, why the Grand Phoenix?
Sally has totally moved out & has her own place (another place Y&R fans have not seen). Apparently, Newman Media still has a suite at the Grand Phoenix as a home base since the Newman Media Launch Party. After all, that is where they first almost got down…
Adam Newman’s desk at Newman Media, the couch in Adam’s office, &/or an actual bed at the Grand Phoenix… Keep it coming potential new power couple!
Victoria & Ashland (Version 2.0) Have Not Yet Kissed on Y&R
Meanwhile, Adam & Sally are mixing business with pleasure, the merging professional & marital partners of Newman-Locke have not kissed, let alone touched each other much… since Ashland was played by Robert Burgi.
Why?… Y&R Fans Ask…
- Because Ashland 2.0 seems too old for Victoria?
- Ashland & Victoria are working together to undermind Adam to oust him (& Sally Spectra) at Newman Media & don’t have time to make out?
- Because Ashland has too much time allotted in covering his ass with this whole Peru clinic he has previously invested in without telling anyone within the Newman clan & Victor has caught on?
While we’re hardly experts here at The Weekly #WTF on the Y&R, however, if we had to speculate we would say it’s a combination of all three.
Adam & Sally Do It & What Happens Next on Y&R…
How long will Adam & Sally keep getting it on? For now, only Victor knows they are getting down, & it’s just Sally that knows that Victor asked Adam to spy on Ashland. Similar to Victoria finally meeting her match with Ashland, it seems Adam & Sally will be unstoppable. For better or for worse, it will be exciting to see what this new potential power couple has in store for us.
Sure, Robert Newman is playing Ashland Locke well. His mannerisms & how he carries himself are almost spot on with how Richard Burgie played Ashland. However, the heat between the new Ashland & Victoria simply isn’t there, at least right now. There was a Y&R fan this week on social media that suggested Robert Newman shaved his facial hair. Would that small change make this couple more visually compatible hot? Your thoughts are welcome in the comments section below.
Finally, it seems things will be living up for Jack Abbott. No, not with ‘Red’ as they seem at least for now cemented into the ‘Friends Zone.’ This week wrapped up with Jack receiving a random text from a random number…
The previews for next week reveal that these texts may have something to do with Jack’s long-time-forgotten son, Keemo. Y&R fans have been expressing frustration on social media for so long as to now the writers simply deleted this son of Jack Abbott’s.
