Victor Newman Missed Out On Purpose

It seems Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) missed out on acquiring Marchetti on purpose. When the opportunity for Marchetti to be acquired by Jabot, Victor Newman did not speak up at all.

Since when does Victor Newman let an opportunity go by? Especially an opportunity that his long-time rival, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has a chance of benefiting from.

Did The Mustache know that Marchetti was a bad investment at the time & that he could buy the company at a much more favorable price after being run underneath the Jabot umbrella & Smilin’ Jack Abbott?

Now with Victor’s granddaughter Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) & now CEO of Marchetti divorcing Jack Abbott’s son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), opportunity knocks…

Summer Newman, A Walk in the Park

For how often Summer Newman walks in the park, shouldn’t her life be a walk in the park?

Well, if a walk in the park means never actually working at Marchetti, then yes. If it means losing the love of her life & the son she never adopted, then not so much.

It’s apparent that Summer’s new BFF is Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) & it’s even more than apparent that Chance Chancellor enjoys being intimate with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

Yet, there is unresolved sexual tension present with Summer & Chance…

When Summer isn’t spending time in the park with Chance, she’s spending time in the park with anyone else… Summer’s brother Daniel Romalotti (Michael Grazaidei) & her mother Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for the most part, among others.

When does Summer ever do any work for Marchetti? Since Kyle Abbott left his post as CEO at Marchetti to work under Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), Summer Newman is now CEO.

Now Summer does even less work than she did as Creative Director of Marchetti & has managed to hire Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) & Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to support her. Seriously, #WTF?

Marchetti Home Is Also Pointless on Y&R

Not only is Marchetti pointless, but Marchetti Home was/is even more pointless. Obviously, it was some BS division created for Summer’s mother Phyllis to run so they could work together. We all know how that worked out…

Marchetti Home somehow is even more pointless than the design company that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was attempting to create with Chloe Mitchell.

Then there was the home design division that Victor Newman said he was going to create at Newman Enterprises. He offered the position to run his new design division to Sally Spectra… & then he took it away. Now Newman Enterprises will supposedly never-ever have a home design division.

With all of these botched home design company efforts in Genoa City, it’s apparent that neither the living room couch inside the Abbott Estate nor Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) couch will ever be replaced.

Y&R’s Marchetti is Pointless, Until Now…

You know what is going to hit the fan this week on Young & the Restless when Victor learns that Kyle is not only working under Audra Charles professionally but also personally.

Victor Newman will do everything in his power to protect his family, including his granddaughter Summer.

Now that Y&R’s Marchetti is pointless & isn’t worth as much as it once was, it’s the perfect time for Victor Newman to make a move & acquire it from Jabot. This move would not only be a punch to Kyle Abbott but his dad & long-time rival Jack Abbott.

Ultimately yet another Newman will work for Newman Enterprises & everything will be almost right in Victor Newman’s world.

Victor Newman will do everything in his power to help Summer Newman succeed & Jack Abbott’s son eat crow.
