She can wear anything & look beautiful, but why a wrap? Did Young & the Restless fans miss a magic show? What is going on right now on the set of Y&R?

Nikki Newman’s Straight Hair Spins Y&R Fan’s Heads

Here at notmyfirstday.com, I didn’t think Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) hair was all that bad. I thought it was a fresh look for her to try. However, Young & the Restless fans disagreed across social media all week. After taking a deeper dive, it’s the straight bangs that take away from Nikki’s straight hairstyle. Something has to be done with those bangs.

Wrapped Up Protecting Baby Daddies: Victoria on Y&R

Victoria didn’t do magic this week, but perhaps it’s coming. Her father Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has forwarned Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) at least four times that he should not socialize with Victoria & Cole isn’t having it. Cole Howard seriously doubled down with reminding Victor that he is no longer 16 years old & went ahead & spent time alone with Victoria inside his GCAC suite. Victor Newman would not approve but Victoria & Cole’s daughter Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) definitely did approve. Claire & her soon-to-be boyfriend Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) celebrated with a double date conveniently at the Genoa City Athletic Club.

When Victoria isn’t reassuring Cole that she is a grown woman & her father doesn’t control her, she’s considering how to take action to protect another ex-husband & the father of two of her children, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Along with Victor insisting that Cole stay away from Victoria, Victor is doing everything in his power to sink Billy Abbott via a hostile takeover of Chancellor Industries, currently known as Abbott Chancellor.

If Victoria’s ridiculous wrap wasn’t meant for magic, perhaps it could be a magic carpet for her to travel around town to protect Cole & Billy.

Y&R Nikki’s Straight Hair to Straighten Out Victor

NOT! No one can straighten out Victor Newman & Nikki Newman is going to find out the hard way yet again after he takes over Chancellor Industries & she’s not sitting inside the CI C-suite as CEO. At best, she’ll be placed as Co-CEO with former Chancellor Winters CEO Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

What Nikki Newman accomplished this week with Victor & their daughter Victoria most resembles if she would have worn her hair crimped instead of straight. She waffled endlessly between Victor & Victoria’s approaches to acquire Chancellor Industries & how to address Billy when doing so.
