Abby Newman Knows Nothing, Yet Again on Y&R
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), & Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) have 110% bought into Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) fake illness. Hell, even Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is in the process of buying in.
However, Victor Newman’s daughter Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is totally & completely out of the loop yet again on Young & the Restless.
Now that Nick & Victoria are both genuinely concerned about their dad & have confided in the mother, Nikki, wouldn’t it make sense that they would want to bring their sister Abby into the loop as well?

Victor Newman has been faking his illness all over Genoa City, including inside his daughter Abby’s restaurant Society.
One would think that Abby Newman may have caught on or at least wondered why her father has been acting out of the ordinary here & there. One might also think that Victoria, Nick, or even Adam might bring Victor’s strange behavior to Abby’s attention to see if she’s noticed anything.
At this point, does Abby Newman still own Society? She’s never there. If Abby did still own Society she would be in the loop.

So, what is Abby Newman’s point on Young & the Restless? She’s completely out of the loop as to what is going on with the Newman side of her family. Her mother is still in Paris estranged from her new husband after their wedding that she just helped plan & held at the Chancellor Mansion. Abby is never at Society, nor is she ever with her son Dom.
Has Abby Newman, formally Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor, really minimized herself to be only on Devon Winters’s (Bryton James) arm or sleeping at home?
What is Abby Newman’s day-to-day motivation? Shouldn’t she be checking in with her family & her business are all in Genoa City from time to time?
How will Abby feel when she does learn that her father, The Almighty Victor Newman duped her siblings into thinking he was losing his mind?
