The news of Nikki Newman’s new grandchild coming soon was delivered to her by her eldest granddaughter Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

Also, Summer mandated that Nikki does not share this new development with Granddaddy Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Nikki could not have been more pleased that the next Newman baby that Sally is carrying is Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) & not her golden boy son Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow).
Summer & Nikki agree that Nick & Sally should break up & Sally should reconnect with Adam. Young & the Restless fans agree.
Summer & Nikki then formulate some half-ass plan to make things happen…
It’s Not Sally Spectra’s 1st Day, She Sees Right Thru Summer’s BS
It seems that Summer is so tired of dealing with her husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) & his mother back from the dead Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) that she’s so inclined to get involved in her father’s relationship with Sally.
With the support of Grandma Nikki Newman, Summer is confident that she can manipulate Sally Spectra to pivot back to Adam Newman ergo ending her relationship with her father.
Perhaps Summer should have spent more time paying attention to her mother Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), the master manipulator that does not take no for an answer & gets shit done.
Summer is out of her league in attempting to manipulate Sally Spectra. It is not Sally’s first day.

Sally Spectra, much like Summer Newman’s mother Phyllis, is not to be messed with.
Y&R fans, are you hoping that Adam & Sally do get back together? What if they have a baby girl & name her Hope? There is so much potential here. Nick needs to seek companionship elsewhere…
