It seems Marchetti Home on Y&R is being dismantled as fast as it was created.

Marchetti Home by Phyllis is Already Over on the Y&R
Or, is it? Diane staged a fight between her & Phyllis after learning that any type of negative confrontation between them would equal them both being let go from Marchetti.
Diane Jenkins owned up in front of her son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) & his wife Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), the Powers-That-Be at Marchetti.
Almost too promptly, Diane resigned from Marchetti because of her actions towards Phyllis she immediately admitted were out of line.
It’s all too obvious that since the conversation between Team Kyle & Summer & their respective mothers that work together at Marchetti included severing ties with both of them if either of them deviated from getting along, would be their demise.
Marchetti Home on Y&R by Phyllis, It’s Back, At Least for a Minute…
Thanks to Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) selfish-soft-opening of his new Glam Bar on the top of the Grand Phoenix featuring a surprise party for Summer & Kyle Abbott getting remarried.
There are SO many things wrong with this…
Um, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) selling the Grand Phoenix did not make any sense. Phyllis supposedly sold it to work for her daughter & her husband at Marchetti. This all the while she knew she was prioritizing all of this to have her nose & eyes under the same roof as Diane Jenkins. Did Phyllis really examine this uncalculated risk?
Then when Summer & Kyle sat their mothers down to put them on notice that any negativity sponsored by either one of them would result in both of them being let go from Marchetti, all the hope was gone.
Now that Summer’s brother Noah has hosted a fabulous surprise getting married again party for her & Kyle, Summer & Kyle feel all warm fuzzy family-wise & extend an invitation to their mothers to rejoin Marchetti. They obviously accept.
Phyllis & Diane Call Another Truce, & it Will Fail Yet Again on Y&R
Obviously, Phyllis & Diane accept their jobs back with Marchetti. They claim to understand that this is their last chance ‘for real,’ or else…
Y&R fans, Phyllis, Diane, & anyone that knows anyone that has anything to do with Young & the Restless knows that another bullshit truce is not going to work.
Why did Phyllis sell her hotel to go all in on getting Diane Jenkins out of town via working at Marchetti? Also, if Phyllis leading Marchetti Home doesn’t work out, how will the Abbott Estate ever get renovated? Kyle is already funding Diane’s room & board at the GCAC. What’s next if she loses her job again at Marchetti?
