Billy Boy Loses Jesse Gaines (AGAIN) & Still Loves Victoria
Why does Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) continue to invest time, resources, & trust in Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones)? One reason… He’s still in love with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Despite Billy Boy knowing that Gaines has extorted money from both Ashland & Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) on separate occasions, he allows Gaines to extort money from him as well.
Then after losing Jesse Gaines in Italy he loses him yet again after taking him in after Gaines somehow got back to the States.
One would think Billy would learn from his mistakes but that is not the case. One would think Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) would eventually have enough of Billy’s BS & move on but that is also not the case.
Billy Boy’s OCD is obviously motivated by his ongoing love for the mother of his children, Victora Newman-Locke.
Too-Tolerant Lily Winters
Oh, Lily… You are way too tolerant of Billy Boy. You move into a condo on Chesnut that is adjacent to the condo he shared with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). While he is not still in love with Phyllis, it’s obvious he’s still in love with Victoria.
Billy Boy’s obsession & love for Victoria have motivated him to make a number of reckless decisions as it pertains to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) & Jesse Gaines. This is all to protect the mother of his children.
Oh, Billy Boy… Victoria is a grown woman. Not only is she a grown woman she has an endless amount of strength with endless resources to get whatever she wants to be done being a Newman.
Billy Lost Jesse Gaines on Y&R…& What Happens Next…
What is Jesse Gaines’s actual deal with Ashland Locke? Why would Ashland have been paying Gaines if he didn’t need to? Regardless, there’s no doubt he’s one interesting dude, & is decent-looking. Let’s keep this guy in Genoa City long enough to be entertained & find him a love interest.
Speaking of love, is that where Phyllis & Jack are headed? After an uncomfortable breakfast, it seems that Phylis & Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are for sure broken up. It seems also that Jack only schedules meetings to take place at the Grand Phoenix. Ergo, consistently & “conveniently” running into Phyllis.
With Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) “missing” & her mom & Uncle Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) heading to Spain to track her down, Jack will have to take a break from spending time with Phyllis. He’ll have plenty of time with Ashley on the jet to hear her pitch on why he should not get back together with Phyllis.
In related Genoa City news, we learned fake baby Dominic has Devon’s eyes. We also learned The Genoa City Athletic Club is still open as Ashley called there trying to track down Abby.
Finally, Chance is alive! We can’t wait to have him back…
