Ashland Locke isn’t sick… Not a surprise to many Y&R fans. However, it’s certain that Victoria Newman-Locke (Ameilia Heinle) is about to be bamboozled after naming Ashland Co-CEO of Newman-Locke.

Victor Newman Thinks Ashland Locke Isn’t Sick | Sends Michael Baldwin to Peru to Investigate (Y&R)
It appears we are upon another recurring life tutorial that if something seems to go to be true, it probably is.
Nearly a year ago Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) daughter Victoria, the CEO of then Newman Enterprises, conveniently met her match who had a company to match that with hers.
Add in some sexual tension & a terminal cancer diagnosis, & we end up with a personal & professional merger both Genoa City & Y&R fans haven’t seen before… The merger of Newman & Locke, now Newman-Locke, & The Wedding of the Century.
Y&R Fans wondered… Was Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi, Robert Newman) playing Victoria, or was Victoria playing Ashland? After all, Victoria Newman had finally met her match. Could it be that Ashland could be as calculated & manipulative as Victoria?
Raise your hand if you’ve ever been aware of a cancer patient going thru treatment & chemo who doesn’t lose any of their hair, enjoys an extraordinary wedding & continues to be intimate with his wife, still works, & manages to make time for scotch whenever possible…
Well, Victor Newman has finally called Ashland Locke on his BS. Then he calls on recently retired Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to investigate… in Peru.
Not-so-shocking… The Mustache’s hunch was correct. As per some doctor in Peru, Michael Baldwin got to talk on tape, Ashland Locke isn’t sick.
Ashland did, however, pay a significant sum of money for a fictional cancer diagnosis.
Meanwhile… Billy Abbott Conjectures Locke Wants a lot More Locke in Newman-Locke on Y&R
Billy Boy runs into Ashland Locke 2.0 at Society (not drinking apple juice) & speculates right away that Locke might be itching for more Locke is Ashland-Locke.
It seems Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has been on to Ashland Locke’s BS from the beginning. Sure, Y&R fans were led to believe that maybe he was jealous of Ashland & still in love with Victoria. However, it’s apparent that he could not be more committed to Lily.
Perhaps for once, Victor Newman & Billy Boy Abbott were on the same wavelength at the same time… However, one befriended Ashland & is waiting for just the right time to expose Ashland. The other brought Ashland’s enemy, Jesse Gaines, to the Wedding of the Century.
While Billy Abbott may have good intentions, he may still need Victor Newman’s class on How to Handle Shit: 101.
Co-CEO Ashland Locke, Newman-Locke | Victoria Agrees… (Y&R)
Speaking of Billy, he was right. While Ashland knows someone is fishing around for a scoop at the clinic in Peru that saved him, or he paid substantially to state he was terminally ill, he apparently doesn’t know that his father-in-law is the man behind the re-con.
Ashland Locke’s damage control?… Ashland asking his business partner & wife to name him Co-CEO of Newman-Locke.
Ashland backs up his request for an upgraded title by reiterating that he is well, never expected to pull through, & work must be at least in some part must be keeping him alive & well.
Perhaps he & his fake cancer diagnosis are sick of sitting at the round table in his wife’s office without any power & almost no respect from others on Young & thte Restless.
Ashland Locke Isn’t Sick & What Happens Next on Y&R…
It seems Ashland Locke will conveniently be named Co-CEO of Newman-Locke just before Victor exposes his make-believe terminal cancer diagnosis. Shit is going to hit. The. Fan. What will happen to Newman-Locke? What kind of shake-up do these developments mean for Victoria, Nick, & Adam within the business? Personally, Victoria is good at being single & will persevere.
Otherwise, Dom has been sick but has had a successful bone marrow transplant sponsored by Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Chance will, in turn, sponsor medical-grade transportation for Dom to have sleepovers at Devon’s. Even though Dom’s doctor said that while the transplant was successful, he can still be infected very easily & everyone should be very, very careful when spending time with him…
