Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor has (almost) no idea what is going on with anyone in Genoa City who also bears one of her last names on Young & the Restless.

Does Victor Newman even know that Devon has shared custody of Abby & Chance’s son Dominic?… & negotiated that Winters be part of his already long last name? Abby & Chance put up almost no fight & didn’t consult with their parents at all.
Now Victor is onto Abby’s sister Victoria’s husband’s fake cancer diagnosis & treatment. It’s actually kind of a big deal. It was confirmed this week at Society that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor is completely out to lunch in regards to what is going on with the Newman side of her family.
It seems that all of these people still live in Genoa City. They all have cell phones. Abby owns & operates one of the only restaurants in town that the Genoa City elites enjoy. How is it possible that Abby has no idea what is going on with Ashland Locke?
Speaking of Devon, Abby & Chance’s sperm donor/friend/who now has shared custody of their son, he’s about to merge his company with Chancellor Industries. Abby & Chance live in the Chancellor Estate with a painting of the late Katherine Chancellor looking down on everything they do in their living room.
Devon stops by the Chancellor Estate to insert himself into Dominic’s life at his leisure. How has a significant corporate family business merger not come up in conversation?
Not so shocking & a bit more understandable, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor has NO idea that she has a niece named Allie. Allie hasn’t made her way to Genoa City yet, but it seems that her arrival isn’t far away.
Oh, & Diane Jensen is back from the dead…
Hopefully a wake-up call for Abby… For a mother with a loyal husband, a nanny, & another adult in town who has shared custody of her son, she should have more time to know what is going on with at least one branch of her family tree.
Victoria & Ashland are headed to Tuscany to “get some space.” Adam Newman has been appointed Interim CEO of Newman-Locke by Victor for the time being. What is really going to go down in Tuscany? Will Y&R Fans see the Newman Palazzo again? Is that where Ashland will spend his final days? Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor has no idea that things about to get ultra-dramatic.
Then, of all things, Diane Jenkins is back from the dead. Somehow she faked her death? So, who did Nikki Newman kill? Who did Murphy find in the lake? Is this blast from the past warranted?
