Seriously, the Y&R Writers assume ignorance & have relocated the Genoa City residents living at the Grand Phoenix to the GCAC without notice.
Did Daniel Pick-up An Impromptu Suite at the GCAC? Nope!
After the gala celebrating 200 years of Genoa City & 50 years of Young & the Restless ended, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) checked into a room at the GCAC… Or, did he?
It would make sense that after learning his mother was presumed dead that he would take a room at the GCAC out of convenience & extreme emotional despair.
Why would he travel across town to the hotel suite that he’s living in when he’s just lost his mother & there are hotel rooms available at the venue he’s currently in?
Daniel’s daddy Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) tried his best to console his son but there wasn’t much he could do. Regardless of whether Daniel’s mother Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) faked her death or not, he was bombarded with an emotional tornado & endless questions as to why now & how this even happened.
Daniel’s Ex-Lover Lily Winters to the Rescue, Via Danny Romalotti
Before Phyllis Summers collapsed & was presumed dead, Danny caught onto Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) & Daniel’s renewed connection. Danny warns Daniel to not get into anything too fast with Lily as he just separated from his wife Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).
The tables turned after the news of Phyllis being dead. Danny Romalotti phoned a friend…
Out of the best of intentions with a side of desperation, Danny reached out to Lily to be with Daniel at his suite at the Genoa City Athletic Club.
Tucker McCall Now Checked Into the GCAC, Ashley Doesn’t Ask
Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) only reason for attending the gala celebrating 50 years of Young & the Restless was to spend time with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). He literally took a short nap during the dedication of the Neil Winters (the late Kristoff St. John) Jazz Lounge.
The following day Ashley gets frustrated yet again with her brother Smilin’ Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at the Abbott Estate.
As per usual, Ashley ran off to Tucker’s hotel suite… But not inside the Grand Phoenix.
Now inside the GCAC…
Ashley Abbott questions Tucker McCall’s each & every move. Why wouldn’t Ashley question Tucker’s move to the Genoa City Athletic Club?
Are Daniel & Tucker the only guests that have relocated to the GCAC? Not so much.
Y&R Writers Assume Ignorance, Loyal Y&R Fans Wonder Why
Somehow meanwhile being dead, even fake dead, Phyllis Summers’ room was relocated to the GCAC. Her new husband Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) went to fetch her things.
How is it that the Young & the Restless writers see fit to relocate all of the guests of the Grand Phoenix to the GCAC without explanation? Perhaps there could have been a fire at the Grand Phoenix & guests relocating would have made sense.
Guests magically relocating without any explanation makes zero sense.
