Victor Newman is bored on Young & the Restless. Apparently, as bored as Billy Boy Abbott. Victor is retired & Billy is unemployed & they are both causing trouble in Genoa City.
Yes, the two men in Genoa City who could not despise one another more are acting almost the same way.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is retired & has taken up stirring up trouble for his son Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Now Victor’s causing problems for Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) career not knowing she is pregnant with his next grandchild.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is still unemployed after leaving Chancellor Winters & primarily spends his time checking on the biological mother of his & Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) son Johnny.
Victor is Retired & Bored, Now He’s Colluding with Kyle on Y&R
After retiring from Newman Enterprises, Victor seemed to be fun. He was enjoying himself. Now he’s simply bored & has nothing else to do but to stir things up with his son Adam. Of all people to stir things with, Victor calls on Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Why?… Except for pure boredom is this taking place. Both the Newmans & Y&R fans have seen this movie before. Adam returns to Newman Enterprises. He gets along with Victoria & Nick not much longer than 10 minutes & then shit hits the fan & Adam loses again.
Fortunately enough for Victor Newman, he is so bored that he also has time to stir up the mother of his next grandchild’s career.
Also, why is Victor Newman putting time into setting back Sally? Obviously, it’s boredom, but seriously.
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) is a grown professional woman who can take care of herself. It was not classy at all for Jill to have Sally & Chloe fly to LA to meet with her & then cancel after they arrived.
Regardless of what Victor shared with her, she could have shown up. If Jill is going to behave like that when scheduling meetings she should stick to meeting remotely.
As Bored As Victor, Unemployed Billy Boy Abbott in Genoa City
After the slow & painful death of Billy Abbott’s & Lily Winter’s (Christel Khalil) relationship, Billy can now fawn over Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) full-time.
Movies & popcorn on the couch at Chelsea’s new apartment above Crimson Lights, dinner with two of his children with different biological mothers, & now dinner out in public coming soon.
Both Victoria Newman & Y&R fans can see what’s coming next… Billy & Chelsea becoming even closer.
Beyond Billy & Chelsea’s most obvious connection, Johnny Abbott, they both have a sorted past of scheming & bonding as needed in light of that part of both of their pasts.
Besides Billy Boy being unemployed, Chelsea Lawson remains unemployed herself. Chelsea is recovering from extreme mental health challenges, but still, she does have as much free time as Billy.
Now add to all of Billy & Chelsea’s free time the connection that their son Johnny has with her & Adam’s son Connor, a bunch more bonding time is in their future.
It seems that a new family might be forming in Genoa City. It’s obvious that Billy will end up having at least one sleepover at Chelsea’s. Should things progress into a relationship, how long before Johnny stays with Billy at Chelsea’s to spend time with Connor & more?
Victoria is going to be more than upset but what are her options? It’s certain her father Victor Newman will always do everything in his power to make sure no one messes with his family & will have something up his sleeve to mitigate Victoria’s latest challenge.
