Y&R’s Marchetti is Now Hiring, COO Roles in GC are Full

Marchetti is now hiring on Y&R. Good thing… It seems all of the COO roles in GC have been filled in Genoa City on Young & the Restless.

Who knew? It seemed like for so long that COO roles in Genoa City continue to pop up like pop tarts. Even now, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) & her son Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are Co-COOs at Newman Enterprises.

The Marchetti Hiring Committee on Y&R, Diane & Phyllis’ Kids…

Nothing to see here (yeah, right). After Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) & her husband, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) returned to Genoa City & brought Marchetti with them, & they began hiring.

Who better to fill any open or made-up positions than their mothers who cannot stand one another?

Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is somehow still alive & is somehow still in Genoa City. Supposedly she’s tired of her rich son & Abbott heir paying her way at the GCAC. What?!?… the Genoa City Athletic Club is still open?

It has to be… In case anyone such as Diane Jenkins gets kicked out of the Grand Phoenix.

Then there’s Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)… Now she has been offered a job a Marchetti. We all thought she had a hotel to run. It seems Phyllis will prioritize her hatred for Diane instead of the hotel she put her heart, soul, & whatever else into.

Y&R’s Tessa Porter Can’t Speak & May Model for Marchetti

Out of almost nowhere, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) can’t speak or sing. She’s simply limited to being cute with a whiteboard & a dry-erase marker.

Tessa’s lesbian lover Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) can tell she is bored with her limitations. Mariah asks the man who married her & Tessa, Kyle Abbott, to hire Tessa on at Marchetti.

Wait… Tessa hopefully temporarily cannot sing or talk. What can she do for Marchetti?
